the Z4's took over for the pphires ilk and point to charts.
These same charts which failed them time and time again will eventually be right at some point in a 24 hour day.
The pumpers also point to Government embracing fuel cell technology, which,in truth they have NEVER embraced.
Desperately, the longs may actually win out as the PPS has been battered over this past 6 months and government is embracing alternative energy. Strangely, they embrace it now that oil is embedded over $100 or so and the US has become the exporter of cude to the rest of the world.
WE are the 21st century arabs.
Shorts on the other hand fail to recognize the economy of scales. At some point ($100 bbl) ANY alternative becomes financially feasible. And the cost of remaining short becomes an opportunity lost and that money will shift to other industries.
The pie grows and other industries will grab a menial piece allowing for stead business,if not growth. So short money is as above...an opportunity cost becoming too expensive.
The line in the sand is upcoming earnings.
If revenues exceed $46M and if earnings loss are less than (.03), the PPS will rise.
IF however, Revenues increase solely at the cost of a shrinking backlog.....longs are in for more painful times.
Here's what I mean by desperate Longs!!! Z4 is spouting and reducing earnings estimates as he is quoting ONE source from his brokerage!
Meanwhile,I,objectively am using the CONCENSUS as shown on everyone's Yahoo page as follows:
Avg. Estimate -0.03 -0.03 -0.13 -0.05
No. of Analysts 5.00 5.00 4.00 5.00
Next Earnings Date: Jun 3, 2014 - Set a Reminder
Avg. Estimate 45.18M
Furthermore, I am not saying the PPW will go down.!!!!
Actually, I am implying the selling may dry out as the shorts will no longer view this stock as a place to put their money!
The longs may win out purely because if the EPS comes in at -(.03) and revs come in $45m
if there are sales to maintain the backlog......the PPS will not decline on it's own, thus the shorts will move their investment to more fertile areas. THAT alone will give a 10-15% bump to the PPS leaving FCEL to be in the $2.75 rangebound area and a nice gain.
BUT,if revs miss OR is revs come in at estimate AND that's coupled with a reduction in backlog MEANING forward guidance doesn't reflect new sales, then under $2 it goes.
My feeling is the former not the latter, but I'm not trying to be persuasive either way.
Thompson/Reuters is used by Wall Street.
Thompson published their consensus estimate at a loss of -.(03)
That's why the number is -.(03)
Guidance to follow.
That's my guess of what we'll e hearing.
The stock will initially be rangebound + and - 15 cents.
Then, shorts will start to cover creating a minor move to $2.65-2.75,as they decide the worst is behind and no longer a shorting opportunity.
That's my call.
That would be a BEAT.
Just not acting that way yet.
lCell Energy (NASDAQ:FCEL) is expected to report earnings on Tuesday, June 3. The whisper number is -$0.02, one cent ahead of the analysts’ estimate and showing some confidence from investors. Whispers range from a low of -$0.05 to a high of $0.03. FuelCell has a 23 percent positive surprise history, having topped

Apparently you don't understand a lot.
But let's start with 2 items;
1-Consensus-Thompson - Reuters is used by all of Wall Street, agreed? Well whether you do or not is irrelevant. Thompson consensus is a loss of -.(03)
2-Whisper--Whisper number is a "prediction", a mere prognostication by analysts whose job and sole function is to ANALYZE. The Whisper number put out is a loss of .(02),which is a beat of it comes to pass.
Whether you understand or wish to admit you don't THOSE ARE FACTS!
Avoiding FACTS and pumping BS doesn't get you respect. Doesn't get you anything.
They are just facts. Deal with it.
So I doubt you understand, but there is NO RAISING of any bar on a whisper number!
It's merely a guess against the consensus!
And the consensus is put out there by THOMPSON - REUTERS, not Yahoo. Not Fidelity.
Tomorrow will be brutal.
Blah blah blah
Then you'll be getting a bargain if you buy at $1.75 or less, eh?
Planning?Forcasted? Targeting? Contract negotiations?
You trust the use of these terms?
Yup, and the number\s are the numbers.
Each quarter folks like to spin the numbers to explain why revenues are lower than expected, or earnings are lower than expected.
Then folks spin terms like "pending contracts", contract planning" "increased backlog", reduced backlog", "generating interest" "increased interest".....
Number are the numbers.
Bye all. I actually thought I would be kickin myself for selling.
You DO understand, guys such as Riverpap are also considered high net worth individuals.
Nowadays, it doesn't take much.
High net worth.....
My 103,300 sale at the close was the right move.
And you're "partially" correct and partially wrong.
The truth be told, the CC was better than the actual financials and earnings.
But isn't it always?
You cannot SPIN numbers as easily as intentions.
The right move was selling into the earnings and buying back.
A significant difference. Well over 10% for an extended amount of time. Easily tradable.
Now, IMO, AS I SAID BEFORFE THE EARNINGS,the next move is a creeping up.
Because the bottom was in and downside is limited on the fundamentals.
So, SHorty SHOULD realize this and slowly reduce his short position, thus the next drift move is higher.
My posts are not about bashing or pumping.
Your problem is you come off as an unadulterated PUMPER with complete disregard for risk and lack of any real trading acumen.
But GL to you.
Z4-EDGX is an EXCHANGE, just like ARCA, NYSE,ETC.
they are NOT a seller. There is a seller on EDGX, just like there will be sellers on the other exchanges.
Ya wanna cheer, go ahead.
But tone down the rhetoric based on misleading conspiracy theories!
$100+ oil prices enable the industry!
It's the new normal.
Nat gas projects and alt fuel sources are about to have their day.
If so, QTWW and others are about to start moving.
LEAPS with a strike of $7.
