I stopped at one today to gas up. The price was only 5 cents higher than Costco & BJ's. Easier in & out. Their yard was loaded with tractor-trailers. I do not see any reason why this stock cannot hit 20 this year. An analyst today on TV said we may experience a melt-up in stocks toward the end of the year once the Fed makes its move and uncertainty is out of the way. I hope so.
Market goes down, UTX goes down, market goes up, UTX goes down! Next: Market goes down again, UTX goes down again. I will buy in the low 90's. It is a pretty sure bet that it will be there soon. Big Steve is the stock guru on this board.
Hope all goes well. I was cut loose in 2010 and was forced to take SS & pension. Too old to get anything decent.
I keep hearing all bad news about the markets, UTX, etc. That's good! I hope more people jump on the bad news band wagon throughout the next few months. Could lead to an opportunity.
In the past, it always seemed that when things went south with earnings, the solution was to cut the rank & file work force to make up for it. Perhaps Hayes will cut from the top down rather than from the bottom up. In the military, when the unit doesn't perform, the commander is relieved. They do not get rid of the troops. I like the "from the top down strategy".
Big Steve is looking brilliant right about now with his 90/share prediction. I am wondering if he is one of UTC's directors on the board?

The Justice Department is seeking up to $148 million in damages and fines from United Technologies Corp. over allegations that subsidiaries of its helicopter business overbilled the U.S. Navy for spare parts.
I am being censored by Yahoo but Sikorsky is being investigated for criminal charges regarding illegal overcharging the Navy.
This is why there will not be a great need for military aircraft. This administration is weakening our country while our enemies are increasing their numbers. Respect for and fear of America is on the decline. Next up: Hillary. She has a great dislike for the military.
Maybe because they do not see any great future in the rotor business. Oil companies are hurting and defense is being cut. Less troops to carry = less aircraft needed. The defense cuts will continue if we have a dumbocrat in the White House. The liberals have control. Buckle up!
C11 - Please note..Dizzy Lizzy Warren is not a CT Senator. Good night!
Dear Consumer - That was then........this is now. CT needs all the help it can get thanks to the liberals that have destroyed our state.
Forget your Texas know-how, we need you to bring a new governor to Connecticut.
131 by when? I am 70 years old and cannot wait another 25 years for it to reach 131. I was expecting 130 by the end of this year, especially considering it was as high as 124 not to long ago.
