Almost too good to be true so I have some reservations about jumping all in. However, they have what looks like legit cures for multiple diseases. That's rare and I've never been a part of something with such potential and I've been through a lot of awesome investments. Good luck guys/gals this could be the start of something truly groundbreaking.
There is no way they go this alone. They will get scooped or partner if this trial shows positive results or even safety.
Teeth...Buddy. There are how many stages for grief? I think you hit denial. I've been there too so not judging. The FDA is the ultimate power here and they have spoken.
He is a strategist , I'll give him that. But the shortcut strategy backfired yesterday. He still has this co in a better position than it was when he took it over. He did mention in a recent article that shareholders should stick with the company for 5-10 years. I was surprised he didn't say 2-3 yrs. Maybe he knew, maybe he didn't. He may go , he may stay. The whole thing is murky
First off I was forced to sell. Second, I think the blame is a 50/50 split between SRPT and FDA. Both look like they are totally out of sync with each other. Miraculously RNA was able to ride the spring communication back from the dead and now is remarkably in the lead for first to market. I don't that was the FDA's intention but that's what this has led to. Maybe they move the goalposts for them at some point too, probably likely they will. I'm sure the drug works but the process has turned everything up on it's head. I find it hard to believe Mendell fudged the IHC data in fact I think the wording from the FDA was way off base and a bit dramatic. That being said, the situation is murky at best. I'd love to have held but too many whiplash moments here. I hope to revisit when the dust settles. But Wall St. being Wall St. I expect further punishment of the stock. Right now all I can do is buy some solid stocks recover some losses and get back in when catalysts start to come again. This is such a terrible story, especially for the boys. The process needs to change
Agreed, PPMD totally shocked me with this letter. I think CG p o'd the FDA. The board tried to limit his interactions with them, that was a red flag.
they must have needed something to go off of and the 144 week data was it
The FDA is asking for SRPT safety data! RNA has had major safety issues while SRPT has zero safety issues. I'd expect the FDA to ask RNA for similar data
