I get it. But look at companies like Bluebird bio. They gave a PT with sickle cell disease a potentially curative treatment and that person has been kept completely under raps. The ENTIRE biotech community wants to know about this one PT.
I called NVIV on this, as I was concerned about it becoming a SRPT. PT vids, charities, news coverage are great but it's the data that tends to lag. I for one was hoping they could lock up some non disclosure agreement. But if they need to raise money I can understand that's tough to enforce
This was a topic that I thought the board was too crazy to understand. I was really questioning the 503 as well.
Smart girl, Don is well respected. Anyone else that says otherwise has no clue what they are talking about and are reacting on pure emotion.
Try reading his other work maybe? He's one of the most respected biotech reporters in Boston next to Adam Fuerstein. More big time Boston CEO's give him the story before Adam most of the time.
Don is very well respected here in Boston. He was all over SRPT and sometimes the stock reacted pos and neg to his stories. Don't throw him under the bus for this.
What drives me nuts about this board is that people either think the device will make PT's walk on water or be a complete and total failure. How bout somewhere in the middle. Still a huge success compared to no treatment option. If people expect 100% success they are in for a rude awakening. We need dozens of PT's to get this treatment to come to any decent conclusion. Expect wild swings, so sell some on the rips then buy back on the dips.
Yea, thinking it could test that line, I may use the profits I took on Friday and start to add a little if it hits $14.
