I sub-contract for Lennar and DR Horton for residential new construction
I also cover Waypoint Homes which is a company buying about 100 homes a month in my area and they renovate and then lease them.. Taking off huge. They filed for an IPO not long ago, and just recently got a major investment from Starwood Capital. Excellent business model knowing their purchase price, renovation costs, and leasing rates. Their model is to lease for 10 years, then sell the home. Cash cow
Real estate market in the Chicago area is on fire. I work for a few of the majors and they cant keep up. This time of year should taper off, but I haven't seen it.
Yeah I agree.
There's clearly value here and the market does not fully see it yet. This is the only reason I haven't just sold and moved on to something that was moving. I'm just frustrated watching this one for so long and waiting/hoping. Something will happen someday right.
There's been a lot of positive catalysts throughout 2013 already.. None of which moved the share price notably. All the news has been priced in all year long, and I'm pretty sure the return to full production will be no different. The problem is, that's all we have to hold onto right now for the forseeable future, and that sucks. I like the company, I like the prospects, and I even like management. I hate the stock right now. But I will hold..... why not right
hahaha "fist full of each" made me laugh! How do you know so much about the kind of girls I date?? Thanks for the tip WSP.. will do :)
Was very strange.. Not something we usually see here in the Midwest this time of year. Feel bad for the lives lost and people displaced. Certainly puts things into perspective
It's ridiculous man.... I have a few other analogy's I can use here but yahoo blocks too much out!! Im just getting more and more frustrated by the day as Im sure everyone is. If this thing doesn't get headed in the right direction soon, Im going to have an even bigger alcohol issue.
Missed the one in Washington, Illinois yesterday by 5 minutes, outran a couple others while driving back from Oklahoma city. Came back to the hometown to lots of carnage as well... Was ugly man
Great company, great prospects, bright future..
The stock on the other hand, is absolute and complete junk.. No insider buys, no PR, no nothing
I highly highly regret sitting on my hands and watching other move while this #$%$ is stuck in the mud.
SEC isn't going to mess with these little companies. If anyone else has any better explanation as to what happened today, I'm all ears. But if BZNE has been in deep negotiations with OPKO and TEVA, why couldn't we learn that information this morning when we sat and read the filing? Why couldn't we learn that information a couple hours later when the share price hit .23? Why no IR department today, and full voicemail boxes. Just complete utter silence until someone was done loading up the cheap shares. Frost is eventually going to roll everything into OPKO and then sell the whole thing to TEVA.. He'll make a mint along the way, just like last time. But don't be fooled, theres a lot of questionable moves along the way.
Exactly.... Frost knew all along. And he would never support this losing himself a ton of money... Unless he had a plan. They screwed the average shareholder today.. They sat back watching the share price fall 70% only to sit on the second PR until 2:30 this afternoon. They could have been released together and avoided this entire mess today.
Yes... BUT.. Biozone isn't going away... Frost is going to merge whats left (it sounds like) with another company and go a different direction. Everything very vague, both in the PR and the filing. But theres much more to this story then is meeting the eye.
Frost was buying all day knowing it would fall until this PR came out. Why else wouldn't they have released this latest PR this morning along with the filing... Should be criminal
Smith & Wesson 500 is the most powerful, but both will get the job done just fine :)
Yessir... Boston Lager at the moment and grabbed a little Octoberfest for later this evening!! I always file those jury duty notices next to my empty beer bottles. I think I may regret that at some point tho
You guys are all making me feel left out. I love the confidence with all the purchases. I've been going back and fourth for a while now on adding, and I just cant seem to make myself do it. Love the company and the prospects, but gotta fight the urge to get in too deep... Maybe I'll jump after a few ore of these Sammies!!
I believe we do if we can get a good asset at a discount. Yes, we're not at full production currently, but you have to believe this is temporary. We've pretty much all been sitting on our hands for a while now anyways.. whats another month or two if we can come out on the other side in an even better position then we sit now. The cash is doing nothing for us now. Take the stake up to 25% (ish) and it starts to work for us in a big way when full production is resumed. 10K a day sounds pretty nice to me.
