I'd say wait for regular hour action first. But I'm disappointed in the AH movements.
I almost fainted to see green for once. I think insider selling recently didn't help us though. But my experience with KORS has taught me a lesson or two that just because insiders sell doesn't mean that it's not going to surge.... and usually always after you finally sell out lol.
Thanks for thinking about us. There is a time to short and I don't think right now is it. I'll stay long for now thanks.
It's hard to say. This seems to be going down and I'm wondering if the recent spate of insider selling had anything to do with it.
Either he was being sarcastic, or else just a cautious trader. I've had loser shares as well that after years of pain finally broke even or at least a bit up, that I wish I'd sold. After all, I could always buy back if earnings were good, but if not then at least I finally freed up my capital. That was in the past. These days I cut losses much faster. ALGN is in my sights.
Also we don't know how many shares he bought. Maybe he had tonnes... those 55c add up!
Myself I'm holding till earnings.
Amen to that! Same thing happened with me a while back with a few other stocks. But the ignore seems to have really helped... don't know why I didn't think of that earlier on this board!
I have an interest in product failures insofar as it helps me form/ modify/ refine opinions as a trade or investment. However while your articles highlight dangers, it's similar to if I were to post on the gun stock boards every accident that happened. I think as TASERS get widespread use like guns, the chances of stock price moving in response are low. The accidents are tragic (I feel for the woman who lost her eye) but it isn't likely to affect stock prices or cause anyone to sell unless they are investing into ethic stocks. But somehow I suspect most of these latter won't be here in the first place.
Thanks for your reply. I am simply astounded because I'd expected to have a lot more interest and contributions from people who actually say something about the stock. I mean I'm used to these boards being full of it, but generally with each stock there are also peopel posting genuine opinions that at least give me another opinion from an investing/ trading point of view. Long or short, I'd be happy just to read real content about this stock as an investment. Hopefully as you say, after earnings more informed or at least, interested participants will come on board with their input.
Best of luck!
Isn't the important thing how much we could squeeze out of it before valuations hit though? My difficulty is predicting when that is going to happen.
Any thoughts if there will be another round of selling after actual earnings announcement?
I'm long and losing money too, but I don't see what they wrote as the typical #$%$ you see coming from the people on these boards. Think it's important to consider all angles.
The thing is, this doesn't seem to be a very rationale stock. I'm amazed by how that stock was absorbed after the pre-announcements. Looks like there is strong support for this.
I'd be interested to hear your predictions of what will happen after earnings announcement. Say this increases in price back to the $70s before earnings, what happens after? Same drop?
You make me ashamed to be Asian. Get a Life. Oh yes and get ignored.
Not sure. There must have been something drastic in the earnings report that I missed, because I thought it was good on many fronts. Someone seems to be hating on this stock.
