"In a real democracy the elections should be won by the best man/woman for the job." Then I guess we don't have a democracy in this country, because we have a Congress full of imbeciles from both parties.
WITHOUT China Mobile. Apple did this off of a much smaller base of subscribers at China Telecom and China Unicom. Even if the deal is not struck with CM, people will still buy grey market iPhones that will work on CM's 4g network. If there are already 45 million running on the very slow 2g network, then most of those people will want to upgrade to a better phone and a much faster network. Plus, tons of CM customers will be new Apple customers and buy grey market 4g iPhones. So, I don't see much of a difference in earnings for Apple whether the deal gets officially done or not. Maybe CM figures they don't have to subsidize the grey market phones and they are OK with that.
