Bloomberg just reported that "Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp evacuated workers from two plants in Tainan and Liquid Crystal Display Maker Innolux Corp shut down all eight of their factories in Tainan automatically after the earthquake and that production will resume gradually."
Jeb you do realize that in December,2013 shares of HIMX went from $10.65 on Dec, 2nd to a high of $14.63 on Dec. 30th that being during the "slow-down in trading over the holidays" period you mention!
I'm a novice when it comes to options! Could you tell me at what Price level "Max Pain" is for HIMX! Thank you in advance for any pertinent info you provide!
B.Riley,Cowen,Feltl and Craig-Hallum stuck it to those people real good! None of these companies should ever be trusted. As for SPCB and Treblesi where are those contracts that were promised were going to be "easier" to win having that 25 Million dollar windfall from the sale of those 2.1 Million shares @ $12 apiece? How much does Treblesi earn per year being CEO? It doesn't list his "salary" or the salary of the other "Key" executives! They should all get ZERO compensation until the stock price gets back to $12(if it ever does)!
If it were an "ethics' issue I find it hard to believe they would have had that person stay on to help with the transition to the new CFO!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
For HIMX the dividend is ALWAYS based on the PRIOR YEARS EARNINGS!! They typically payout about 70% of the earnings in a form of a dividend. So if the company makes .30 cents per share for 2015 they will payout about .21 cents in a once per year dividend typically sometime in July.
