  • So, we have all kinds of nuutttjjjjjjoobs out there.
    It is all over.
The world is coming to an end.
    SELL SELL SELL--say they.
    This is all macro stuff.
    But the facts say otherwise.
America sucks as a place to work and live as a middle class or working poor person but it is this sweat shot we call the USA where major profits are made for corporations.
There is an OIL boom well under way in America. America is now or soon will be the number one producer of oil in the world. As massive amounts of oil come in from Texas and North Dakota, America is heading toward being an exporter of oil soon. Then we have the Natural gas--massive amounts are being gotten out of the ground. As a result of all this, the world oil prices are going down and so is the price of gas at the pumps. Thus OIL and its huge Boom will add manufacturing jobs to America as companies look for cheap energy and reliable workers. So 1 to 2 percent will be added to an already growing economy. It was 4.6 percent growth GDP in Q2 you know.
So you thought ebola was a big thing? Not too bright are you. It is not.
Now to Intel and the Micro. Intel will use the Internet of things boom to produce huge profits in server chips.
Net Incomes of over 4 billion per quarter are coming later in 2015 for Intel. As Intel sells phone chips using 10nm chips late 2015 and into 2016, the net income for Intel will likely be going past 6 billion per quarter based upon some profits in phones and massive profits everywhere else. And you are short are you James?
I am sure you and others will cover your shorts very soon.

  • BUT--if you want to take a bet on a long shot, wait until it gets to under 1.00 and then buy some.
I, like many of you fanboys, do not think it will go bankrupt because it can simply cut its losses by closing down the CPU business and going with the other chips it makes.

  • amdroaddkill2010 amdroaddkill2010 Oct 13, 2014 9:13 PM Flag

You said, and I quote " Even if shares went to $ wouldn't be a bk situation."

I can assure you, if the price went to 0, it would be a bankrupt situation.
In fact, if the price got down in the 50 cent area, the end would be right there.

  • The Internet of things with chips going everywhere.
Intel making more than its share of those chips.
Intel shrinks to 10nm chips with trigate and becomes the only supplier of same in a couple of years.
APPLE and Samsung will want these chips. They will have to have them.
Then we have the Fabs. Only Intel and Samsung will be making the top end fabs soon. Taiwan semi will be years behind and will be making chips for secondary markets.
So how much money could Intel make?
    LOTS and LOTS.
But wait and see if you like and then get in.
Intel will make huge net profits in the next five years and the stock will split once for sure or twice in the coming 6 years.

  • Longs are in for what is starting to happen now and the rapid revenue growth to come because of the macro and micro for Intel.
Tuesday--Intel will beat the number and the stock will move back to 34 or 35 by the end of the week.
Perma bear here, what is his name? I takeback or IBEATOFF or is it, ieastsheet. Whatever, he is a nutjob and just lonely and will be sayihng the same things when Intel hits 40 late this year. I told him to get some but he simply is too cowardly to even get a real woman.
Oh well--He is harmless and I wish him good luck. He should go long Intel now because it is going to go up big in the next two years.
Macro--the entire market will go up. America will move into a decade Boom market based upon 5% GDP growth to come soon the US economy. It is already 4.6% and it will move up. Why? OIL, Tech, and manufacturing all will boom in America.
America will become an oil expoter in a few years and you can count on it.
Tech?--Yes it is the Internet of things and the Huge money to be made from it.
The manufacturing is coming back to America because it is no longer so easy to build in China, India, and other places.
BUT OK--you do not buy it.
No matter because Intel has a massive micro thing going on as well.
Intel will shrink to 10nm chips and almost for sure get Apple and Samsunbg contracts because of this.
What? You think others can do it easily? NO they cannot. Then we have the fabs. Only Intel and Samsung will be making the super fabs in the next few years which will cost as much as 10 billion dollars a piece to build. Did I mention that AMD was Roadkill?
But Intel will be making chips for devices that will go everywhere and the Net profit for Intel will be 3 fold or better by 2020 end. The stock will split.
After it splits, the perma bear --itakeitupmine--will be saying short. That is what he does.
40 before this year ends is a very good possibility.

  • Of course Intel wins.
    AMD shareholders lose.
Do I think the markets will crash? NO
Is this the usual October panic based upon the 5% who panic sell with October's history on their minds? YES
Is AMD facing a major battle just to survive? YES
That is shown by the firing of Rory. Or did he quit?
Cannot blame him if he did quit. AMD is useless and clueless with no way to compete.
But no matter, AMD is now ROADKILL.
    Resistance is futile.
You aMd droids will be assimilated. Intel inside.

  • Yes--I bet you amdfanboys thought6 you would never see the 2s ever again.
Do I need remind you that any stock this low in price is being priced as a possible bankruptcy?
Hector left--AMD went to the 1s. Now Rory canned, and AMD will go to the ones again.
It is your money but a bet on AMD is very very dangerous.
The CPU part cannot be sold off but I suppose the other chip parts can be.

See you AMD fanboys at 1 dollar soon.

  • Yes---it might go bankrupot.
    Yes--it might not.
What kind of investment is that?

The world wide LOT market--the internet of things, is expected to grow by more than 5 trillion dollars in the next 5 years according to IDC.

  • amdroaddkill2010 amdroaddkill2010 Oct 6, 2014 6:25 PM Flag

And of course--this Internet of things will be needing massive amounts of servers which Intel happens to make the Chips for.
These are the high priced chips.
The ones that sell for 300 dollars to 2000 dollars are these chips.
All and all, Intel is as likely to be at 16 this year James as is a #$%$ republican likely to vote for Obama.
Intel will see 40 this year and go above 80 next year in 2015.
Likely James covello of goldman sux will cover his short play very very soon.

  • James Cavello of Goldman sux is one. He had a 16 price target on Intel.
Now let us look at why it is they are so so dim these shorty boys.
First, is the Macro economic situation. While the doom and gloomers cry the world is coming to an end and buy gold, gold is crashing now and the dollar is rising rapidly. Why? Because the USA is seen as a good bet by people in Europe and Asia who will be pouring money into the USA stock market for years now. They win with the currency and the Bull market.
Then we have OIL. Did you know that the US will likely be exporting oil in a few more years. That is right. The US oil boom combined with the oil sands from Canada, will mean the USA need not buy ANY oil from the Middle East, or Africa or Russia soon.
How about GDP--it was revised up to a growth rate of 4.6% for Q2.
Once the rate goes above 5%, the jobs will star5t to be plentiful and America will become a boom nation for the decade ahead based upon OIL and better yet, the Internet of things.
That is right. the Internet of things will bring trillions of new dollars into America in the next decade.
read part 2 in my reply to myself.

  • Economic boom in America starting now.
Driven by OIL and the Internet of things explosions.
    Take unemployment under 4%.
Take the Dow to near over 25,000
Now hold an election with President Obama leaving office with an approval rating well above 55% again.
Hold an election where a woman is the Dem candidate.
The GOP will be ROADKILL in 2016 and this off year election will be meaningless.

Do you understand that Intel is going to 100 in 2016?
50 would devastate you would it not shorty?
100 will blow you away in a negative way.

So just relax, watch fuxed up news, and go short the market as you buy gold.
When all is done, you will be ROADKILL.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • You would think a big company like Goldman Sux would know better. There must be some BS going on under the table trash they are doing because NO way could even James be this stupid.

  • Bank of America/Merrill Lynch has boosted its price target on Intel Corporation (INTC) to $43, suggesting a 26% upside. The firm has also raised estimates on INTC as the PC industry is expected to stabilize.

  • Apple and Samsung phones and tablets likely to use it.
Thus, we will have lift off for Intel share price in 2015. 80 before 2015 ends.
The arm fanboys will be crying like little babes.
Intel will not get all of the market share in phones nor does it even want such a thing.
Intel simply wants the top end smart phones and tablets because this is where the profits will be.

Of course the internet of things will dwarf the phone profits this decade and Intel will be there to grab more than its share has it shrinks to nm and then 7nm chips.

If you are a day trader or even a week at a time trader, a short play on Intel could payoff at times by just dumb luck but it is a stupid play to short Intel now.

  • Of course, in Oregon too.
10nm fabs will have Apple and Samsung as users of Intel phone and tablet chips on board.

Intel introduced its first 14nm Broadwell CPUs – Cortex M – at IFA Berlin, earlier this month. (Read: Intel Launches Its Most Energy-Efficient Processor To Spur PC Demand) Core M is the most energy-efficient Core processor in Intel’s history and extends the company’s lead over AMD, whose processors use the 28 nm processes from TSMC and Globalfoundries. Broadwell will be succeeded next year by the 14nm Skylake architecture, which in turn will give way to Cannonlake (based on 10nm).

Intel has the world’s most advanced process technology and is way ahead of competition in developing the 14nm and 10nm manufacturing technologies. It plans to offer the 10nm CPU by as early as 2016.

  • On Monday, Israel’s Finance and Economy Ministries gave final approval to a plan presented by Intel Corp to invest $6 billion in the remodeling and continued growth of its chip manufacturing plant in Kiryat Gat. The investment will become the single largest investment made by a foreign company in Israel to date.

“Intel’s investment is a strategic asset for Israel’s industry,” said Finance Minister Yair Lapid. “This is the biggest investment by a foreign company ever in Israel and is further proof that Israel is at the forefront of technology and innovation.”

Intel plans to upgrade their Kiryat Gat plant, with a total investment of roughly $6 billion (about NIS 22 billion). The exact amount is still pending upon final approval by Intel’s Investments Center.

According to a statement made by the Finance and Economy Ministries, Intel will receive in return a government grant of $300 million over five years and will be eligible to pay a low corporate tax rate of only 5 percent for a 10-year period.

Look son, you have way to much time on your hand when you are going through all my past posts to see where I was wrong. I made that post in 2011 and was wrong. I had thoght Intel would get into phones but it failed and fired Paul O because of that failure. Yet, I was at least corrct about the direction of the stock movement. It has moved up to around 35 and I see you recently poisted this nonsense.

Sell in May and go away. Its not too late.
This stock is going down back to $24.

-----Now that was a real stupid prediction and I never see you, unlike I just did, admitting that you were wrong. Why is that? Were you wrong about the 24? It is 35 now.
Man up and tell us you were wrong--but it is funny because we can all see the fact no matter what you post.
