They use the current ultra low interest rate market to value a pension. The difference in the value is huge when 1% vs 6% is used.
You count on two things: sky high water bills and sky high property taxes (most likely more than you mortgage payment)

I'm trying to book a ticket and have now been on hold for over 80 minutes. I was using multiple phones but they dropped me on the other line.
So American is only capable of selling a ticket every 90 minutes?
I bet this would get their customer service in order or put them out of business.

I have never seen such an incompetent customer service in any other entity. American Airlines is a safety risk to all travelers. If their customer service agents cant handle something as simple as using a companion certificate then how safe should the public feel with flying with this airline?
