Translation: Aetna is going to increase the number of people buying into their scam. Aetna is not an ethical company. Aetna is the problem, not the solution to health care. We need class action lawsuits against Aetna. They are deceptive, lying, thieves.
The analogy Walmart is using could be expanded to say if the victims wasn't driving a small like a ford focus or honda civic but instead driving a semi truck there wouldn't be any injuries.
I wish I was on the jury. I would award the victim more than being requested.
Walmart, you better watch your back.
I have always respected walmart truck drivers. Not anymore. They declared war on every driver with their asinine attempt to blame the victim. Good luck walmart drivers. Your gonna need it.
I couldn't believe some of the horror stories I read. It sounds like Aetna is defrauding consumers paying into their scam.
Oh I do know very well what I am talking about.
Why don't you educate us and explain why Americans spend more on health care than any other country yet ranks 20-40 place in actual health care.
Insurance is why health care costs are out of control. It's not the lawsuits as insurance companies try and make us believe.
Aetna is a national disgrace to America's health care system.
I hope it doesn't happen but I wonder how long before someone with a terminal illness goes postal on Aetna. Aetna seems to not want to pay or drag things out hoping the patient dies first. Anyone that relies on Aetna for their well being is a mistaken fool.
It is because Aetna is a Wall Street wh@re and their game plan is to take in premiums and then denying service.
We need to either get rid of insurance companies or make them all nonprofit organizations.
Aetna paid for the appt and is now paying for the $150 device. They could have only spent $150 but instead ended paying an additional $450.
They have idiots working there.
The doctor wrote a prescription as "medically necessary". Aetna wouldn't approve the $150 item. So I had to make another $450 doctor appointment have the doctor provide additional information.
Aetna is being penny wise but pound foolish. They are trying to micromanage areas that they shouldn't stick their nose in. I'm just waiting to see a lawsuit against Aetna for trying to know better than the doctor.
Yes, Aetna is intentionally dragging issues out hoping paying patients into their scam will go away. They have sent people to what they call in-network providers and those in-network providers don't exists or don't offer services patients are seeking.
Aetna is a POS company and amplifies what is wrong with out health care system. Insurance is the problem, not the solution.
Yeah, I had to make several appointment with the doctor not for medical services but rather just to address Aetna's paper work.
There is no doubt Aetna is the problem with our health care system and not the solution. They are being driven by corporate greed. We need to get rid of insurance as we know it today and follow Europe's lead. America spends more on health care than any other country yet ranks only 22nd in actual health care.
Aetna needs to be investigated by the Justice Department for defrauding paying consumers into their scam. What Aetna is doing is criminal IMO.
Insurance companies are the enablers of sky high health care costs.
Then people have to fight endlessly to get insurance companies like Aetna to pay.
Aetna is a sham entity ripping off patients who buys Aetna expensive insurance.
Recently I was told by Aetna that there is an expect ion for doctors to go to their web site and read the 'fine print' policy statements to determine what is covered. So Aetna is now forcing doctors to read their web site rather than providing actual health care. A doctor specifying something as medically necessary is insufficient whether the patient is covered or not. This getting as bad as the credit card companies a few years ago.
Aetna, you are the problem with health care in this country and not the solution. This country would be better off with your scam!
Americans spend more on health care than any other country but only ranks 22nd in the world health care standings.
Insurance is the problem.
I dream of the day calling Aetna three times in a row on the same subject and getting the same answer.
I agree. Something is up with Aetna. I had an experience where I had a service at an agreed to rate. After I paid the bill the provider rebilled at a higher rate. Aetna said they are allowed to do that. I suspect Aetna is getting kickbacks. I have wrote the Justice Department to launch an investigation. This is nothing but fraud on the consumer.
