Republicans can't govern....or won't...because they have to repay their donors with our tax dollars
Scott Walker is hiring his cronies in created job positions... state positions have increased every year since 2010
The state Department of Administration paid $1.64 billion in salaries to 37,543 state employees in 2013, up 2.9 percent from 2012 when there were 500 fewer people on the payroll.
About 3 percent of those payments, or $54.6 million, were for overtime. The median salary paid to those employees was $43,671.
The DOA payroll data cover roughly half of all state-paid jobs, and does not include those working for the University of Wisconsin System, the Legislature or the judiciary.
Actually she was elected (indirectly).... the 1st ladies are not paid but are part of the current president adminstration
Guess what happens to Iran if they use a Nuke......they get a set of glass bowls
Just like Jimmy Carter, Obama inherited a mes.....both cleaned up the Republican messes just in time for the Next Republican to screw it up again
Its all about greed with the Republicans
History has proven.....the GOP can't govern...too many special interests upsetting the American way of life
Actually Congress banned that bullet...indirecly.......all other ammo for the AR 15 is still available......this bullet was only available for the AR-15 until recently..a few years ago a new illegal hand gun had hit the streets that uses this cop-killer bullet... therefore it can and must be banned to protect our police forces
You forgot Clinton had the "line-item" Veto...and he knew how to cut Republican pork out of the budget
Republicans have always been against the working family......
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) ripped Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) for insinuating that his fight with unions prepared him to be commander in chief when he made a comparison between union members and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria:
"If Scott Walker sees 100,000 teachers & firefighters as his enemies, maybe it's time we take a closer look at his friends.”
In a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday, Walker said, “If I can take on 100,000 protestors, I can do the same across the world.”
Walker, a possible 2016 presidential candidate for the GOP, tried to walk back his comments after his speech, which drew criticism from the both the left and the right.
Jeb Bush said Walker's comment shows he is not ready for the big leagues
“No action has been taken,” Mr. Rodenbush said. “A.T.F. is simply proposing and requesting public comment on a framework to enforce the law that Congress passed and provide guidance for the industry through a transparent process for making exemption decisions.”
ASK the ATF................ police officers had pushed for the new rule because the bullets can easily pierce bulletproof vests and other armor that are worn almost exclusively by law enforcement personnel. Handguns are considered more dangerous to the police because they are easier to conceal and are more often used in crimes.
THANKS FOR THE LINK.....and the real story behind the restriction on the cop-killing armor-piercing 5.56-millimeter “M855 green tip.
all other AMMO for the Rifle is still avalable
Next you will complain about our POLICE using ARMY type tanks to protect themselves from criminals.
As usually.....the Right-wing propaganda doesn't tell the whole story.... The ATF wants to restrict the cop-killer armor-piercing 5.56-millimeter “M855 green tip......Congress already gave the ATF the right to restrict these bullets because they can be used in banned hand guns
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said this month that it planned to restrict the armor-piercing 5.56-millimeter “M855 green tip” rifle bullet because of new handguns that use the ammunition and pose a greater threat to the police. Previously, the millions of inexpensive green-tip steel and lead bullets sold each year were only for rifles typically used by target shooters and hunters.
“With few exceptions, manufacturers will be unable to produce such armor-piercing ammunition, importers will be unable to import such ammunition, and manufacturers and importers will be prohibited from selling or distributing the ammunition,” the A.T.F. said in a highly technical 17-page submission on Feb. 13.
