I totally agree. APS does view solar as a threaght. I put solar on my property while they were still giving rebates and had Net Metering. They're still #$%$ about that. I love my "no money due" notices every month along with the annual net metering check because I was grandfathered in. Wait until they come up with batteries that are inexpensive and last a long time. Good bye electric companies. Solar is wonderful.
Bucket, this turns out to be solar for morons. The news went into detail about this last night and it isn't a good deal. I may have misunderstood it but they came across very clear, that doesn't mean they reported it correctly. APS will put panels on your home and pay you $30 dollars per month. You still pay your electric bill usage but you get $30 off of the bill. In the mean time they put a power plant on your house they are getting free electric for and still charging you your electric usage. APS is a sleeze company, and like most others, is only worried about their bottom line. If you remember correctly APS was the first in the country to fight Net Metering and becaue of a crooked group of politicians won. APS is no longer giving rebates for solar, they view solar as a challenge to their bottom line.
I would've thought it would correct a long time ago however, if you stayed out waiting for that you would have missed out on alot of money. So far the market has farted off every major event that would've pulled it down in the past: Russia, Israel, etc. so who knows.
Stock Girl we miss your TA on the SPWR board, c'mon back
I had Igettmoney on ignore but somehow it got reset. Oh well, have to hit that button again.
Looks like Igettmoney started it, he likes to get Chasen going
Out with a small gain, just not worth risking that much money with low volume ups and downs. The worst that can happen is I buy back in at a higher price but I don't think it will go anywhere quickly. If I remember right, we took a beating going into earnings last time, even with good ER.
and, by the way, almost 11 grand profit in one trade, in a week time period, to me is not a little trade. I'll take that any day.
I hear ya Chasen, I just was trying to say everyone has their own way of doing things and, if that's what you do, don't beat it to death, just do it. I'm a total believer in charts, you guys have proven it to me over and over.
I listen to everyone on this board then formulate my own opinion. The way this stock has been trading, up 5 points down 4, the last year I believe you can make a lot of money playing the ins and outs using a well thought of system rather than a guess or hunch when to get in or out. You, I'm sure, are not the only buy and hold person on this board and I respect you for it. There are many different opinions about T.A. but I, for one, believe it works. It sure beats guessing when to get in or out. I've seen a countless number of times where Chasen and Stockgirl were right on. I respect your system however, I think you could have made a helluva lot more money using T.A. You will not be correct all of the time but I'll take more than not any day.
You've made your point, quit beating it to death. Some of us would like to read something of substance on the MB. Take your feud somewhere else. Go buy your one share of SPWR and hold it. GL

This is a cut and paste of my trades from my account. I mis counted originally when I said 300 plus free shares but it's close enough as you can see. This is three different accounts. By Chasen's own admission I believe he said he doesn't do a high dollar amount of trading. He definitely is not the same person as me. For obvious reasons I did not include an account number.
I'll just be happy to sell and buy back at the right time. I gained about 11K in free stock on your and Stockgirls last advice.
Quit worrying about him and continue writing your good posts. As the spanish say, he's a pendejo. That word may get by the auditors.
