I believe you can do $4-$5 easily on BTU. They still have the Australian op and all their mines are profitable. Just a balance sheet realignment. For SUNE, it may trade above $0.50 and then stall for the court process to become clearer. A lot depends on their soon-to-be-flied 10k. I am still holding tons of Vivint - hoping to get minimum of $300 million settlement from SUNE and was encouraged to see over $4 billion AOL. I have not bot SUNE but will see how it trades EOD today and tomorrow - may buy just for a trade to $0.50 ($0.53 will be tops unless there's some news).
Amazing that people will sell shares for virtually no reason...and more so when the company was terribly undervalued. HERO even stated (see below) that they believe there's a defense but they don't want to contest it for now. No point...read between the lines and see where the stock is headed fools
1. " the ALLEGED failure by the Borrowers to comply with certain specified affirmative covenants under the Credit Agreement Certain Lenders have asserted (but have not given notice under the Credit Agreement) that (i) an Event of Default occurred based on the Borrower's alleged failure to be in compliance with an affirmative covenant with respect to causing Hercules Offshore Nigeria Limited to deliver the certificate of registration of the vessel mortgage for collateral purposes by April 15, 2016, and (ii) a Default has occurred based on the Borrower's alleged failure to be in compliance with an affirmative covenant with respect to using best efforts to cause the Gibraltar Guarantor to dissolve, merge or consolidate with or into another Loan Party within the required time period."
2. The Borrower believes that defenses may exist with respect to the alleged Default and Event of Default and has reserved all rights with respect thereto.
DO IT....DO IT NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Not sure there's anything else to it. Worth a trade though...solid 20 percent
Literally years away. They said by May ending. They don't even have a BK lawyer yet and the float is gone. Anyone with a little cash can move it up now and I'll cash out
Ohh, and the CLUELESS foll Einhorne has gotten the message and dumped. That clown touted SUNE forever as it tanked. Now, at 30 cents, his eyes have opened. Fools controlling Hedge Funds
Besides, if they survive, you will not get the 40x the article touted. The most hope might be 4x given that Vivint has to be settled as well as these other lawsuits. Son, SELL SUNEDISON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shorts/Market makers are heavily indebted on loaned shares here.
Yes. Shorts will cover. I believe I can do $0.30 here by Friday on my 25k shares. I added 10k at $0.19. The stupid CFO was boasting how he will return shareholder value. Look at them now...got raped by the classless bondholders
Amazing. I remember one Hedge Fund that reported $1.7 million shares back in January. Depending on where he bot, this might be it for them this 2016...with $12 very very likely here (if Saudi's increase production or if crude crosses $48
they all show the same patter. I remember Kodak going up big AH and I did not sell at $0.69. The next morning, it tanked and nothing left.
This has been explained better in a another thread by blodi-yank. We were all ferked!! I sold and out with $1700 loss
I may jump in again on open
Do any of you idiots ever pull out these filings and read them?????? People that are buying it may be shorts covering, maybe folks buying believing that there's still some value or there may be value when the papers are filed. There is no illusion here that there'd be bankruptcy PR shortly.
And if you don't know him, here's a brief on Bloomberg:
"Miller, 66, is best known for beating the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index in his Legg Mason Capital Management Value Trust for a record 15 straight years through 2005. He stumbled in 2008 when financial stocks collapsed, sending the fund to a 55 percent loss. His current fund, the $1.6 billion Legg Mason Opportunity Trust, beat 97 percent of peers over the past three years, according to data compiled by Bloomberg, as his bets on home builders and airlines paid off. This year the fund is trailing more than 99 percent of rivals."
I hope he is still holding it...he will profit greatly
Company have their stuff figured out and has moved on from SUNE - CC going on now - since 5ET
I own 25k VSLR but also bot 7k SUNE after their news today which caught me unawares. I wanted to buy today believing it will touch $0.32 or so. The news blew that opportunity away. So, I chased it a little. Looking to add more if it returns to lower $0.50s
As much as I am not a fan of SUNE, the passage you quoted has zero link to bankruptcy. The word "restructure" is not synonymous to "bankruptcy. And what that passage said is basically the same thing they've said...that they determined there was a problem with "the Company’s financial planning and analysis group..." and will clean it up (restructure). In a layman's term, they will remove and replace some employees from that group. Saying that "I am really good at analyzing things" when you cannot interpret common English is a shame.
Yes, I need to get in at my price sometime between tonight and tomorrow
