South Korea is seeking to produce fuel cell systems more cheaply, Bloomberg reported.
The clean-energy technology converts hydrogen or natural gas into electricity.
Conglomerates based in South Korea are buying, investing in or partnering with US makers of fuel cells, hoping to introduce cheaper production methods that will make the complex systems more economical.
Hydrogenics is one that is partnering and may just get bought over soon
Q1 EPS and over 20% revenue growth was above expectations.
Signed Sprint for another 3 years... kind of big news with the kind of revenues that come from Sprint.
Q2 2015 growth higher than Q2 2014 but talked back a little from the Q1 conference call which called for a rise quarter over quarter.
The second half of the year looks stronger and guidance was left as is with 20-30% growth YoY.
Comcast is now a SMSI customer and other big guys are in the works but can't be named just yet.
Some big deals should be announced a month or so out from here.
Would be nice to see some separate PR about Sprint or Comcast to assure nice gain in the morning.
Without it SMSI goes where our new hedge fund friend lets it go.
Diker Management Llc has filled a SC 13G form regarding Smith Micro Software Inc 1.46 -0.07 -4.38%. Per Mark N. Diker’s Diker Management Llc’s filing, the filler now owns 9.8% of the Information Technology-company, holding 4,386,720 shares.
Smith Micro Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:SMSI) is a newly disclosed equity position for the hedge fund and the filing was required due to activity on April16, 2015. This most probably shows Mark N. Diker’s Diker Management Llc’s confidence and optimism in the future of the company. As a hedge fund with $674.54 million AUM and 17+ professional employees, we have no reason to doubt they didn’t do their homework before buying such a stake.
Google Fiber and Google Wireless
Google's first entry into the wireless industry, will work only on the company's Nexus 6 phones and will be hosted through Sprint and T-Mobile's networks. SMSI territory
Nothing is up exept position being taken in anticipation for the quarterly results.
SMSI is supposed to have another great quarter on the way to a great year. Every quarter is expected to be better than the last according to the CC. We may be over $2 before the report even comes out. Listen to the CC if you are new here and just following the volume move.
Two recent upgrades. Estimates improved and now in the black. Revenue expectations are for growth of 31% this year. A few cents up a day for a few days often precedes a much bigger move.
At the current share price LF is a inevitable takeover candidate. Apple could use the high quality content or Samsung. LF is not likely going to win the battle on main hardware but support devices and content are where they excel. Opening the doors to the android system opens the doors for a broader takeover market.
I bought the LeapTV and am not a fan of the glitches. There is a lot of work to do on that system before the product can expand through word of mouth like the leapreader which is awesome.
Buy and hold. If those projections hang ASYS will be over 30 bucks maybe sooner than later. There are not many shares to go around and very few companies if any have the kind of projections ASYS has.
