yup says the short, what happens when you try to cover your 1000 shorted shares and no one is selling to you? What happens when the shorts are no longer able to churn shares among themselves but everytime they sell, the shares get gobbled up immediately. Nothing to churn and no shares to buy. Look up massive short squeeze, if you are uninformed
Just 3 weeks ago script # were in the 100-200 range, now we are seeing 300 and 400. But these are just the countable ones; the actual counts are much higher. The shorts have to be thinking about covering and doing some damage control; none of these guys want to be the last guy standing and covering over $100/sh.
Once the scripts # starting the exponential growth; we longs don't have to worry about BO and all the conspiracy theories. Just sit back and enjoy the multibaggers and possible massive short coverage.
if that is the case, then the shorted volume is up to 115 million by now. OMG ! they keep on doubling down on their positions to speed bump the rocket launch.
a drug to pulmonary hypertension was sold for $8 billion, a very small niche medical problem. This is a game changer to a market that can potentially be the biggest drug in the history of pharmaceuticals and technosphere platform creating many other megablocbusters.
$7 billion for Afrezza and Mnkd will joint venture with Medtronics on future developments.
so damn if they do and damn if they don't. If they buy, they can be accussed of stock manipulation and if they don't then investors may see that as weakness in the company.
i am thinking the same, they manipulated down to buy cheaper? that's just wrong
if they have nearly 10 million shares to buyback at market price,, what prevented insiders from manipulating the price down so they can purcahse lower? isn't that illegal?
apologize for not being savvvy with accounting but will they purchase shares at market price or a certain set price?
you have no clue what you are talking about. You probably quoted from some google source. FEV1 is a forceful exhalation in the first second-- that is all the FDA asked for, pre and post Afrezza. Someone can invent a simple spirometry for this. You are right that spirometry in respiratory therapy or pulomologist is expensive because it measures carbon monoxide diffusion capacity etc.
wow, there is already a manufacturer for Afrezza FEV1. Someone is already looking to capitalize on the 450 million diabetics taking Afrezza.
What is SNY doing with the $7.1 million???? This is the price they paid mnkd, at cost. But when they sell $7.1 million worth of insulin at cost, it could be worth much more like $500 million, for example. It was reported that the income that SNY sold in the US from Q1 was only $1.1 million, where is the rest of the $499 million? Who are they selling the insulin to? NOw Mnkd just increased production by 300%, lines 2-3.
just a speculation, there was an agreement between Al Mann and sNY to keep quiet, churn down the share price then sNY comes in for shares accumulation and buyout announcement. I am not the only person speculating this but the problem with this silent and down playing tactic is that your buyer can change their mind and try to renegotiate. There is no honor among thieves
the question is how much? What if Al Mann agreed to be silent and encouraging insiders to sell and generated a really bad image of Afrezza, then SNY changed their mind and offers a really low price compared to what they had originally talked about. This could really be bad for Al Mann and investors.
If you are rich and you had money to invest in mnkd, you will be embarrassed. Managment lied about technosphere deals and now they are not even mentioning TS anywhere in their conference. This blows! 1/2 of my life's savings is in this blockbuster.
Does that make sense to anyone? Is SNY that rich?
