why CIM is the most volatile of REITs. Average company.. 10% volatility from high to low, CIM 18% as off today.. It sucks when CIM's capitalization is amongst the upper highest of REITs. Yet, the punching bag. #$%$ me off big time.
go much higher and nearly 100 REITS will all go bust? I don't think so. When oil prices go up, what do gas
stations do? we all know what. However, with REITS, the issue arises if companies are loaded
with high rate securities. CIM has balanced holdings so that at a certain point it will make money even
if rates increase, better yet, as a result of it. Rates are not the bogeyman, INVENTORY is.
I'm a LOCO long term investor who has not learned or dared learn to play the shorts game. Can't
find holes on your post, true if you're really able to make money on up or down markets. Yet,
from where I sit, it ain't reassuring to sell something your don't own, though.
The chicken immediate price does not matter short them, LOCO buys future contracts....
