Nah, I like WW. He's the most important member of this board. I depend on him spending all his time finding postable information that does nothing to raise the stock price. He doesn't understand that it's a waste of time. The folks that control the stock price don't care about all the wonderful technical advancements made by Intel. It's all about the fact that the PC market is declining and that earnings will decline as well. That's it. And they could be right. But I'm expecting an earnings upside surprise. I still think BK is a great exec and has one or two surprises up his sleeve. We shall see...soon. Until then, the price will drip, drip, drip down.
You're an idiot. You seem to forget that illegal war that destabililzed the Middle East that cost 2 trillion in borrowed money, and those tax cuts for the wealthy that cost a ton. And how about that financial crisis that began during Dimwit's Presidency, and the TARP that he and his Goldman Sachs crony Secretary of the Treasury began that paid off the banks at 100 cents on the dollar. Oh, yeah, sure it was all Harry Reid's fault. Not all Republicans are stupid, but all stupid people are Republicans. Just to be balanced, I should include bozo Bill Clinton who got rid of Glass Steagal. He was paid off plenty for that.
The inside of your skull is a content free zone. An idiot full of sound and fury signifying nothing. Where were you yesterday, ARM up, Intel down. Fact is, the boyz don't want Intel above 32 for now. Everytime it hangs around that price, they take it down.
I have an underperform rating on Stacy Rasgon.
Like I said, you have no idea about the value of Altera's IP. But you said you did. You're an idiot, full of sound and fury, but signifying nothing. And you should take your meds.
Really! Why was my post stupid? And if it took your breath away, please place yourself on a ventilator to get your breath back. We wouldn't want you to go on existing without breath. Take your meds.
You don't know if Altera's IP is undervalued. The value of anything is what someone is willing to pay for it. In this case, not that much. Unless BK has other ideas that are not obvious, even to an obsessive fool such as yourself.
The SEC is useless and probably worse than that, just like the DOJ. I'm still waiting for the uptick rule to be reinstated, and for HFT to be recognized for what it is, front running which is illegal. I'll be waiting a long time.
The Fast Money folks on CNBC think this is a dumb deal, because ALTR isn't growing rapidly enough to help Intel's earnings. If BK is smart and this deal is going through, he should discuss why it's a good deal at the coming earnings call. He's got to have good reasons to convince the analysts.
Intel's latest are probably too expensive for the low end market. That's a problem....
If you're referring to the lowered first quarter earnings guidance, I wouldn't make much of it, given current market and general economic conditions. We'll know a lot more at year's end. If conditions improve, my opinion is that Intel will do just fine on a comparative basis, better than folks expect. If not, well, they'll be in the same boat as all the other chip companies, including ARMH.
As is obvious to anyone with half a brain, Mr. Cruz is first and foremost a demagogue, followed closely by charlatan, both being enclosed by his total aholeness. Admission standards at Princeton must have been relaxed substantially for him to have been admitted.
You take on the risk when you cheat. Once you're caught, it's no longer a risk, you've been caught. Your reputation takes a hit. And in Intel's business, cheating is likely to be caught. So my bet is that they didn't do it, or if they did, it wasn't intentional. That's all I've got to say.
I confess my ignorance of this topic, and hate to insert myself into this learned discussion. But, let me ask one question. Why would a company like Intel knowingly take on reputational risk by cheating? They surely know that smart folks like both of you would find them out. Cheating is BAD FOR BUSINESS!
Iraq hasn't been 'quiet' since we invaded it for oil. What we really need to do is to prosecute Mr. Bush, Mr. Cheney, Mr. Rumsfeld, and all their buddies for war crimes. You know, LYING. Yellow bellied #$%$ all.
