No it isn't. And why would anyone "need" that anyway? Wouldn't make the cost of production go down. Costs would actually go up - way up due to the legal and regulatory costs, which would be huge AND get nowhere.
I agree. The market constantly makes boogie men out of meaningless issues, and the 1/4% increase is just that. There will be a huge sigh of relief that it's over and stocks will SOAR. I think the DOW could go up 600 points that day alone.
LABU is a 3x ETF of XBI, a biotech index. XBI is what drives LABU, not traders. If you buy or sell, you're simply jumping on or off a freight train. There could be no volume at all - not a single share bought or sold - and it would still go up and down.
It is August 25th and I have 10% of our investments in BIB and LABU. The rest is AAPL, GOOGL, and cash. Hoping this is the express elevator to the penthouse.
BIB bounced yesterday from its lower trend line, and it bounced up hard, which confirms the channel that goes back to December 2014. If it had fallen instead of bouncing up and ALSO stayed below the bottom of the trading channel, then I would have sold, but it didn't. So I bought LABU for the bounce (actually bought just before the bounce and watched it like a hawk). Doesn't mean smooth sailing, and we could always have something like the EBOLA outbreak, which tanked everything including BIB, but so far its good here, despite the drop today.
Given the baby boom generation going into retirement, given that many of us have money to throw at staying alive for as long as possible, and given the advances in science accelerating, I agree. I have been in BIB now for about a year... I increase the holding at the bottom of the channel and decrease it at the top. We are right at the bottom of the trading channel today, but instead of increasing BIB, I bought LABU instead. LABU is so new it hasn't formed a trading channel yet... but BIB's is a perfect proxy.
What an idiot. Everyone here is selling at the top of the trading channel and buying at the bottom. Except it went above the trading channel for a while, didn't it? Which is a very good reason to use limit orders.
That's exactly where ULTA shines. They help women (and men) look natural and healthy without all that clown gunk the drug stores push. A lot of it is a matter of education, which they are very good at.
