Omar Khan's famous last quote from Tuesday's conference call: "I will remain as advisor through December to ensure a smooth transition for the company".
So Omar Khan remains an employee of NQ Mobile through December 2015.
Page 90 of latest 20-F: Omar Khan's 19,000,000 share based compensation package fully vests in December 2015.
A smooth transition to smoother cash. There are no coincidences in life.

Read page F66 of the 20F filed on March 31, 2015, dopehead. Smart money was following the case on PACER long before the public disclosure.

Hey, bigjoke20 imposter, if you really think I got kicked off ST - riddle me this: Why didn't the alias "cinsider" get kicked off ST too for posting a counterfeit Form 15 (Deregistration) document signed by NQ Mobile? Shouldn't he/she not only deserve to get kicked off ST, but also charged with securities fraud by the SEC? Cinsider's post with pic of the fake document is still live on ST, posted April 21 @ 4:52pm. And by the way, I'd love to believe this document is genuine (bear case), really - but I know it isn't based on the qualifications for deregistration, of which at least one qualifier has not been met.

  • What happened to Omar and Henry's chant that they would defend the allegations from the CA with conviction and vigor? Since they already spent $7mil on legal, they're already "all-in", right? So why propose a settlement in March 2015 for $5.1mil (equal to 6 cents EPS hit) before going to trial? Were they concerned about discovery, interrogatories, and subpoenas? If I were a shareholder, I'd be asking these questions.

  • The correct original post from 9 hours ago: OK, here's a snapshot of my current opinion on NQ. With the ongoing transformation of NQ Mobile from mobile security to unproven social platforms and a scattered enterprise business of mostly low-margin hardware sales, the company is now wholly core-incompetent. As mgt has stated on the most recent ER call, most of these nascient biz's are in MAU mode (IE unprofitable). Quality leadership at helm of NQ is non-existent, and while I had little regard for the Dallas office, it had a chance to grow NQ here in the USA and Europe. With Khan on the way out, my source believes the Dallas office will be scuttled by year-end and NQ will be solely China-based to come. Regarding financials, $273mil in cash, backed out for debt equals about $100mil (not factoring any future buybacks) net cash. To boot, had NQ not received the $20mil from Bison, net cash is dropping like flies and OCF would've likely been negative. Then the dilution of 194mil to 440mil spent on continuing SBC and bizarre acquistions with huge goodwill amounting to NQ;s entire market capitalization. On the $320mil goodwill, I predict a massive impairment in the near future - bad will to investors who base their NQ investment on undervaluation. In fact, back out goodwill and intangibles and debt and you have roughly $zero per share in shareholder equity. To boot, shareholders have no recourse to whatever cash is left in the VIE structure. The Tack Fiori - FL deal? This is the one asset I won't consider as it leaves NQ (with the exception of further consolidation of financial results) to be RTO'd to a company riddled with past fraud and a chairman who wants half the newco - a newco that is likely not going to be valued by the market at half of the projected MOU. That's a whole "nother discussion topic.

ApplenQineer, why don't you simply copy and paste what I said on this message thread from foolfinder45's post? In fact, let me help and show you how it's done in my next post.

He genius greg, do you not see that the imposter alias applenQineer is creating libelous posts, pretending to be me? Do you know I had applenQineer frozen on Stocktwits? Sadly, the Yahoo monitors don't give a ratsass.

ultra.investor: Type in the iterations of applengineer I posted in my previous message in the Stocktwits search bar and you'll see who the imposters are. Again, rather than add to the confusion of half a dozen "apples" posting garbage in my name, it made sense to have ST freeze all aliases "apple" and put an end to the shenanigans. It's sad that the same people who lost their lifes savings on a horrific investment (down 85%) will stoop to a new low by the act of fraud, deception, and misrepresentation. I've been here for over two years and must've instilled fear in these delusional investors who actually find it necessary to slander another poster out of fear of the truth. My tweets have also been referenced by Sina and other Chinese media - search applengineer on Bidu and you'll find me there. To boot, I have another bad actor imposter on a popular Chinese investor forum too, with the alias "applengineer" tranlated into Mandarin verbatim.

  • applengineer applengineer Apr 22, 2015 11:18 PM Flag

TJ: Do yourself a favor and change your alias to liesandmorelies. If you really knew what was going on, you would know that NQ Mobile's lawyers are too busy fighting off shareholder lawsuits against NQ mgt et al. In fact, they're in process of finalizing a $5.1 mil settlement to shareholders like yourself who lost $millions, alleging that various press releases, financial statements and other related disclosures made by NQ during the alleged class period contained material misstatements and omissions, in violation of the federal securities laws, and that such press releases, financial statements and other related disclosures artificially inflated the value of our company’s ADSs, subsequently incurring enormous losses for shareholders like yourself from March 6, 2013 to July 3, 2014. So are you in line to get your penny on the dollar??
Now, to answer your question about Stocktwits and applengineer. If you're a ST troll, you would already know that at least 5 aliases were created in my likeness (applenqineer, aaplengineer, applenqineers, etc) - who uusing my profile and avatar, began posting on ST last week in a manner to discredit me, applengineer. I contacted ST and it was agreed that in fairness to all, applengineer and all imposter iterations would be deleted. So there you have it with your NQ lawyer conspiracy nonsense. FYI, since the deletion, I have created a unique alias that none of you pumperzealots will ever be able to sabotage. And btw, no need to try YMB or Twitter, as I've already locked them up.

  • applengineer applengineer Apr 22, 2015 6:00 PM Flag

There's at least one condition that cannot be satisfied for deregistration - the document on ST is fake.

Bigjoke20: What do you mean when you say "I called off the sell at $4". So if I understand it correctly and you're saying NQ is no longer a "sell at $4" - why are you still posting? Also, I'd like to put you to task on why you "called off the sell at $4"? NQ Mobile is in the process of systematically dismantling their global expansion strategy vs. other China mobile/web cos expanding overseas to cushion from a China slowdown. My opinion on NQ is no less bearish than the day I began covering the stock two years ago. What's your current thesis?

  • applengineer applengineer Apr 21, 2015 4:35 PM Flag

amg9159: Going private or being bought out is a dream. How about a deregistration plan for NQ's future? Then you can do me a favor and turn out the lights on the way out.

gloperfito: 1) Did you listen to the Q4 cc? and 2) Do you know what a 6K is?

  • RegFD doesn't seem to exist in the World of All Things NQ. Just over a month ago, Omar Khan spoke 126 words in what allegedly was a pre-recorded remark on Q4 earnings call, coinciding with the departure of his personal assistant Ashley Meyers. So the bigger question is: Where was Omar for the better part of this year and why didn't NQ file a timely 6K on the matter?
To boot, Omar announced today that he would remain employed as "advisor" to the company until Dec 2015, marking the same spot as the full vesting qualification period of his 3.8 million ADS stock options - worth $100million at the peak and $15million today. Not bad for a horrific former non-C level executive who couldn't name more than one province in China NQ does business in.
There are simply no coincidences in the life of NQ Mobile.

  • CEO Xu had better hit it out of the park in China - or take an intensive course in Englishspeak.

amg9159, if I performed in an inept fashion as Omar Khan has, I would be ashamed to have that kind of money coming to me. $100 million at NQ's peak and $12.5 million at the trough for 4 years of "nothing" is no joke for shareholders. Are you a shareholder?

    Sprint Live a No-Show?

Does Khan's news mean SprintLive (by NQLive) is officially DOA? In Jan 2014, $NQ said it would be in all Androids sold by Sprint by year-end 2014. For newbies, Sprint was Khan's "value-add".
