If people can't take it, they shouldn't dish it.
A deal will have not to do with oil that day, but what oil is expected to do the next two years. If the banks risk tolerance isn't much and they don't think oil is going to $70 by end of 2017, they are going to want an extreme amount of equity pumped in.
Incompetent post and zero research. There is zero cash flow problems in the next few months. The problems are this (which shows you did zero research): What about the newbuilds coming in a few years that were already pushed back will add more debt? What about all the rigs getting cold stacked this summer? What about the Rosneft and NADL deal that is about to get canceled? Oh I forgot, you bought on hunch.
Yet here you are posting all day saying you bought this stock on a "feeling." Don't quit your day job. I'm working my regular job, popping in from time to time, and just laughing at the incompetence on here and stock twits.
There's the rub. You are buying this based on "feeling" instead of doing due diligence on what an equity restructure would look like. You sir, are an imbecile who probably loses a lot of money "gambling" in market.
And for the record, check my posts: you will find I was a long (lost a lot), and then shorted via puts on the first short squeeze over $7. And no I'm not Bill. Your playing with fire holding the SDRL equity.
Do you bother to do any research? Or do you only bet on 52 week lows? Because it seems that you don't do any due diligence. If you want an UDW, go invest in ESV. SDRL is not something to invest in when the equity is about to take a 80%+ haircut. The writing is on the wall. I'm not going to feel sorry when you lose a ton of money when management even told you they are going to dilute, and badly.
LOL. I make non-trading income every day bud. I just pop in here to see amateurs such as yourself put their foot in their mouths.
You obviously didn't go to Wharton. The only thing you can do is "cheerlead" and their athletic programs su#k.
Like gameplayer, wannabe Gordon Geckos who waste their inheritance or bar mitvah money playing sotkc.s
Was that your double wide getting swept away in the flooding on Monday? Thought so.
ESV's successful secondary is comparing apples to oranges with SDRL. SDRL won't be just offering a couple hundred million in its secondary, try billions + a debt for equity swap. And SDRL is not undervalued. No new contracts have been signed.
What are you talking about? stockryder is gameplayer. He's using a different alias because he's such a loser.
Terrible observations. Especially as it relates to SDRL. With no oil price swing to the upside, SDRL is not going to sign any new contracts until 2017 at the earliest. Equity holders are going to get wiped out as they will need to restructure the debt with all the payments due in 2017 and no increase in income.
On the next "American Greed", a con-artist by the name of "gameplayer" suckers people in with Star Wars giveaways before he cleans out your bank account.........
Sorry, song.ol in yahoo finance. They also have PPT slides showing the restructuring. Considering SDRL is Norweigan, many speculate the same will happen to SDRL. I think 95% is too much. Will be betweeen 60 and 80%.
