There is no love on this board. You people need to give peace a chance.
The ghettos in Wausau are right next to the country clubs. In fact, maybe Darden could run the kitchen at the country club and kill two doves with one stone. Then of course, roast those birds and sell them in an Italian roasted dove with penne and asparagus medley.
And how do they benefit by being public now? After all, the folks who overpaid for the stock have already committed their sin. Going private will absolve them by stopping the daily look at how the stock is valued. I did my research and remain convinced that half the public market should go private ASAP.
Cynic--I am no such thing. When the company dropped from 1st quartile performance to 4th quarter performance, due to the embezzlement, and the Board did nothing to figure that out, they are first and foremost grossly negligent in their fiduciary obligations to the non-family stockholders. Yet they were not sued personally because they are the CEO's buddies from the Milwaukee Country Club and the auditors were an easier target. Despicable.
