These earnings may or may not be a disaster, but QCOM's estimate of 2015 remainder will be a disaster, IMHO causing the stock price to tank. Really disappointed at managements failure to manage!
I would love for you to ask T. Rowe Price and get an answer as they have a very hefty position in ZQK.
Remember too, ZQK is controlled by insiders (individuals and related institutional holders) so they effectively call the shots here.
Putting the Dolan spat aside, it appears that Mooney was not just working out in a surf clothing environment.
Looking at Mooney's employment contract details, his dismissal must have cost ZQK a very big bundle. Something I think ZQK would not have done unless internal matters were critical. To repeat myself, I wish Rhone would weight in.
Of course, Rhone knows that Humpty cannot be put back together again but it frustrates me not knowing what Rhone's thinking is about that is going on, or not going on, with all this!
Speaking of "behind the scenes", it sure would be nice to know what Rhone (the key player here) is thinking about all that is going or not going on!
DHR sold its communications segments business to NetScout for Netscout stock. Now it seems that DHR wants to swap that stock to its shareholders for DHR stock. Thus, DHR sheds the communications segments it no longer wanted and gets to reduce the amount of DHR stock oustanding
in a tax-free transaction. Apparently the Pall takeover is now DHR's future direction.
I doubt that DC Shoes will bring anything near to satisfy ZQK's debt, which is enormous. Again, while we individual stockholders are on the hook here, the key is Rhone which sunk a huge amount of $$
into ZQK. I never understood why. I was vehemently against the Rossi acquisition (and so wrote McKnight) for which ZQK vastly overpaid, Leaving us, I think, we we are today. What next?
The lawsuits maybe meritless, but I think it behooves a company in active litigation of this type to say very little,if anything, for the duration of the lawsuits. That is what I would advise ZQK if I were their attorney..
