At present, bioch companies, particularly small cap companies have seen their share prices drop like a deflated basketball with even a bouncing back.
It's time to put all you money to work by buying those small biotech companies. At least you can lock 50% profit next spring and let some house money to run!
Oil and natural gas are next best buys!
People use to say the darkest hour is usually the start of dawn! Shorts and their controlled media are those elements constituting the dark; the science and truth are those constituting the light. Early data on DEVax-L and DCVax-D are abundant, and definite data are coming to the eye of the public.
All may have been looked at by regulators pending decisions!
A bit of Christmas wishes may just be delivered before Christmas for the good of our spirit and good of mankind. Wishes are got to be keep confidentials.
He certainly could and can do anything. At the end of day, all that matter is to make money for his clients. So the only thing common among Linda, Neil and us retail investors are see share price appreciation and to be doing that is to see DCVax platform becomes a truly multibillion commercial platform.
I think he may have got money ready for some buying. It is just a matter of timing. If you were him, what you would do? This will be the only thing reasonable.
Yes only if he were in the same order of IQ like you. BTW, he had accessed confidential information before signing on the deal.
One reasonable theory on what happened and what Woodford is going to do has been put forwarded by Dan88 at IHub:
" I have long suspected Neil Woodford's interests might not be aligned with the interests of the company, thus us retail investors at some time in this unfolding drama.
It would be seemingly difficult to understand, but considering his other more vetted interests in holding the shares of big pharmas, it would become clear:
He has not supported the share price for several months, maybe because he had tried to force his hand into the company.
He agreed to favorable financial deals because of the shares were worthy of what they were issued at the time, meaning the company was fundamentally sound at the time, and it is the same today.
Okay, the point is Woodford may actually stand for gains not loss if NWBO's share price is low if one of his bigger pharmas makes a hostile take over deal of NWBO when NWBO becomes so weak so that it simply cannot reject such a hostile deal. This theory might have been on play for some time.
Now, he must have realized the road at his pointing is not the way we are heading. We are still on a road which says go big or go home. And it is his interest now to start to support the share price of NWBO because he will stand to lose if he is not to do so.
My suspicion above may be just a nonsense which has never been existing, but I hope basically the interests of Woodford, Linda Powers and the company (including us retail investors) have from the beginning been always the same!
But under any circumstances, I am happy with what is unfolding today."
Sorry, typed too fast. It is 100 shares not 1k. Still trying to get more, but it is very tough.
Great points. I agree with you.
I bought 1,000 shares premarket, which I tried very hard to get.
It absolutely makes sense, and I take the point you have made: the company is strong enough to reject any unreasonable request from anyone.
LINDA POWERS will be presenting as keynote presenter 09:35 - 09:55, 26 January 2015
KEYNOTE PRESENTATION: DCVAX ®: NOVEL PERSONALIZED IMMUNE THERAPIES FOR SOLID TUMOURS in Immunotherapy World 2016, Washington DC, under session entitled "Accelerating Immuno-Oncology Clinical Trials and maximising success in your development."
Yesterday when AF#$%$ piece came out, I checked shortable shares available which were around 200,000, the day before and earlier days were around 50,000 ~ 75,000.
Today, the numbers were around 25,000 in the morning, which have disappeared at noon, meaning used or called back.
So there are indeed forces which want to control the price in absence of NW and other institutional supports.
Since merely 25k shares used or never used (called back), the most selling today was from retail investors, and some disposition or balancing from some funds and ETFs.
Smart money may move in later today as the general market, particularly biotech market is down significantly so that creates good opportunities for buying in size at a low price.
