Ron, yes but why? Your response is more speculative and less analytical. Why wouldn't the stock continue to tank as it has relentlessly for weeks on end? We don't know which forces are shorting Linn, but there's likely a few big names in there, likely Goldman leading the charge. This stock is dangerous, on the way down, but will prove the same on the way up, once there is a parabolic shift. They're not going broke, have ample cash for ops and a solid management and biz model. We don't know when and if that's now or not, but soon find out.
Held 5.6 on the verge of massive selling, but shorts held back on low volume. Rally began before wti bounced. Something was going on here, it's just one day, but it starts on one day always. We don't know if it's today, but soon find out. Wti was also testing bottom today with higher volume on the rallying.
The stock accumulaters have gotten one more nice dip to scoop up shares at the shorts expense this week. Don't think we'll see another price dip below 13 as both Linn and oil are trending higher on the charts.
The smart money is accumulating on the dips, and we could see a breakout over 15 as oil also climbs. Gas prices are over 4.50 in Cali and summer around the corner. Linn is also a speculative buyout candidate here.
