This is also strange, why has ARMH been down after the iPhone launch and new iWatch launch? This usually fires up the "The PC era is over" talk and gets people excited to buy the ARMH stock. Hmmm, fishy.
This is why I am really confused about the information coming out. If TSMC was to win the business wouldn't they put out a press release by now? How are they going to make enough 20nm planar processors to satisfy demand of Apple's customers? How can they not go broke selling it to Apple at a price that makes sense?
The story has some large holes in it. They used the term "Coprocessor" which makes me suspect a second stand alone processor to handle a different task. If this is the case it could imply 28nm once again.
Fascinating, how will TSMC ramp up production of 20nm at a cost Apple will pay? I heard something about the A8 using a Coprocessor. Could this be the other 1 billion?
It's not revolution, it's a slightly bigger phone with a slightly better processor than the A7. The 50 times faster statement is comparing this phone to the original iPhone that came out six years ago. BFD! My question is, why is it ONLY 50 times faster? The screen is too small to get the full effect of the HD resolution. It's an iPhone and millions of people are waiting to buy it because they are bored of their old iPhone. There is nothing about this phone that will entice over Android users. Before you type your reply, let me ask you, what are you typing it on? An iPad? An iPhone? This pipe dream era of phones and tablets replacing laptops and computers is dead.
The main point of marketing is to build awareness. How will Nvidia support it's K1 Chromebook retail customers? Throw an "Intel Inside" and Intel pays for half the commercial. What will Nvidia bring to the table to help build awareness of it's soc called superior Chromebook? 'Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door?' Not in today's world.
Oh boy, another ARM 28nm processor hitting the street. The big selling point on this is GPU performance. If you're a gamer you'll love it! If not, what does it really bring to the table?
If you believe in a strong sell position why not just take a market order right now and be done with it? BTW, when you sell do you see any point posting on here?
HP dropping ARM in Chromebook? You have to hand it to HP, they can identify a mistake and move away from it very quickly. Meanwhile Microsoft has a warehouse full of Surface RT's to sell you dirt cheap.
Go ahead and put me on ignore, I don't care. You have only seven posts and your ID was created yesterday. You've gotten so predictable it's not even funny. But don't worry, I won't turn you into Yahoo or Intel. But be certain of this, I am very clear of who you are, and what you're doing. I'll let you play your little freak show on here and flame people with one of a million aliases who don't agree with you. But when it comes to antisemitism I am prepared to take you down.
I have been noticing more than a bit of casual antisemitism from one guy. He acts like a total jerk on here, and even has gone as far as attributing his faker persona to a Jewish man who also doesn't exist. The funny thing is that his real persona is also on here reading the riot act to his fake persona for the antisemitic comments. You can't play it both ways. This is your first last, and only warning. Knock it off.
90% of the posts on this board come from the same person. Over time the board becomes less about Intel and more about his different personas fighting it out. What may look clever and cunning is now just really annoying when you come to find that Intel has taken a back seat this freak show.
Once and for all, knock it off.
Not as many doom and gloom predictions from shorts as we saw in the past. Did they just cover and went away?
