Same thing can be said for some MLPs that have little if anything to do with oil. ETE hit 70, been straight down since the Williams takeover talk. Think it has much more to do with the ending of Fed accommodation this year. But history shows stock are much higher within 2 years of the Fed raising rates.Even up slightly the first year.
The bottom line is the assets have a value and they are well above the stock price. You have lots of stop loss selling, (including part of my shares) and you have folks that don't feel comfortable with "rights' for whatever reason one being tax complications.
