Act of Love? Act of breaking the law, and infesting further this country with illegals who suck the blood out of it through using every service, every freebie, and we, the taxpayers, pay for it, per annointed Obama. Revolting and an impeachable crime. Impeach Obama and the Congress.!

Dumbo, SBUX is a highly-overpriced and tired piece of money-making junk for brainless yuppies to support, run by a rabid leftist, green-obsessed, and greed-obsessed Howard Schultz.

Where? Don't print this garbage when there is NOTHING.

Either is possible. As I stated elsewhere on the board, I sold today and regret that I did. I reacted too emotionally, and have been conditioned to expect it to drop, when I should have seen the strength of the upward movement, which has been going for 4 days. I simply thought it might be too much, too fast. But it broke through resistance barriers.

I HOPE there is a little pullback or bad day, as I'll buy back in, at least in part. If I didn't have to do so on margin, I would never have sold. Unfortunately, I'm paying the margin for Nike as well, and that was a foolish purchase at the price I did it at. Plus, I got sucked into X by none other than Fast Money's Tim Seymour to short it. I lost almost 30,000K on that. Then I went long, as Arcel. Mittal raised steel prices, and all of a sudden, steel becomes a long. Well, that is very questionable. Too much stock, too many problems to figure ways out of.

Please, they do it for their own and their dirty relationships with large funds & institutions. Do you frankly think an upgrade, timed so carefully, to $50 sounds legit?

Right. And before Friday, we should get the chance, as MM's will manipulate to max pain.

Cheetah, I think you directed this to me too? There undoubtedly will be some down days where the manipulators will take a down day and use it to their advantage to drive the price down further so they can buy shares cheaper. I'll simply follow their lead and ride their coat tails.

Thanks, Cheetah. I didn't check Yahoo Finance news to see if they had multiple repetitions of the same or just slightly different versions of the same Einhorn postings, but my brokerage had them on their News. I get a blue NEWS box, every time a new News article is posted. And, all day long, there was no end to it turning blue. I'm thinking, what is the news now? What did I miss that I'll regret.

I feel foolish that I sold a stock that was continuing to go up. Not too smart on a day when it went up until noon or so, and then down & up the rest of the day. In retrospect, I should have had the sense to say, "this stock is going to continue to rise." But I didn't. I gave up about 40K in gains (lots of shares) by selling too early and not waiting for the high of 26.28, I believe. Of course, I would not have gotten all shares filled at that price, and would probably have missed even the 26.27, or 26.26's, because I use only limit orders. DON'T use market orders if you have many shares, because the black boxes and the dirty market makers computers pick up on it right away when they see fill after fill start to roll by, and then they immediately lower the bid price, so you won't continue to get filled. They know that there is a large (or more than one large) order to sell out there, and #$%$ accordingly. Others with small numbers of shares get the highest fills, because their orders get mixed in with all orders, and if the price is at that at the time, they get the price.

That is why I should follow what I have been told: Sell portions at a time and don't worry about silly little commissions. In my case, it's not that I care about the commissions, it's just that, like a Pavlov dog, I've been trained by this manipulated, rotten market, from experience, to expect that I will have missed somewhere near the high, when in reality you need to look at the overall picture of the trading of that stock for the day.

Oh, well, best to those who get more.

Joe, you may be right. We've been up for, what 4 days, 3-7% each day? Considering where this stock has risen from, you have to think, has this gone too high, too fast?

I sold too. Regret I did, but all they did was talk about correction, correction today. And, to illustrate, Dow Jones & Marketwatch CONTINUALLY put out Einhorn's comments that "tech is in a bubble ready to burst," even though he said he made money in MU. That is a perfect example of how you CANNOT TRUST any analyst or writer. They are full of it, and have an agenda they are pushing.

I may try to buy back in. So, to put to rest all the mudslinging thrown at me, I've been a long all along. And that's directed to the many jerks on this board who do nothing but berate, abuse, and belittle anyone who doesn't agree with them. I state that for the GOOD people on this board, who are human beings, and not plastic imitations.

Mind your own business, and don't tell me to forever stay off this board. Get your own butt off of it.. You simply enjoy wasting your time stalking me to simply harass. Grow up, though I can guarantee that will never happen, no matter how old you are.

Right. You have a crystal ball. An absurd upgrade to $50, and this is what all the lemmings follow. I guess none of the brains here can see there may be a pullback. Up too far, too fast, and upgraded to $50? Wonder how much that analyst got paid.

  • SNDK, who is honest, straightforward, and actually gives a d---n about their shareholders, reported a blow out quarter, better than MU's last quarter. This, plus the shorts, pushed this stock up 15% in AH and then on Friday. However, I noticed the steam started to evaporate in the afternoon. The SNDK earnings will be a flash in the pan, as so many stocks are, and then they fall, many in one day, back to where they were, or below, and on good earnings. I guess there are too many on this board who are ignorant of this fact. If you don't believe it, check out a bunch of stocks & you'll see it. A number last week did exactly that.

This blind devotion to MU is really tired. It is like reading about a bunch of groupies worshipping their rock star. "Oh, Stern Agee upgraded it." "Barron's ugpraded it." How many upgrades and good news has this stock had while it was continuing to go down? And so many convinced of 3 and 5 dollar increases within 2 weeks. Stockgirl knows what she's talking about, and everyone down thumbs her, just as they do me. I've been there, seen it, lost it, and have my own mind to figure it out. Not talking heads on the tube, or analysts that basically know nothing about semiconductor analysis.

Hoping, hoping, hoping. Looks like one China number was better than expected. MU, maybe it will be your time to turn up. (at least for a while, before they push you down again, the MFs.)

Wish one could come to that conclusion, but the futures change rapidly from around 11 EST through to 7 am EST. Plus, Chinese garbage data out tonight to screw the world markets as they do almost every day.
