Is at it again. He's a Wall Street patsy for sure. His stimulus has "hooked" the markets on crack stimulus. And we all know what usually happens to crack addicts. They don't last long. You can't keep "buying" an economy. Someday somebody is going to have to pay for it.
As for XCO? Shorts covering. Look at the volume before and after "bend over Ben's" statements.
Not really. The raw materials cost played themselves out here this year. And PSX and the others suffered. Now it looks like new buyers are awaiting to buy????
Their 2 LNG ports will make them tons of cashola. COP (Kenai, AK); COP/Freeport (Quintana Island, TX)
Was to the upside after this interview: As value investors, "our style is really bottoms up. So we're looking at individual companies and try to find a cheap one, find something that's misperceived," said Witmer, who joined the board of Warren Buffett's Berkshire this spring. "I think one area is refining, and in particular Phillips 66 (PSX), which is a position of ours," she said.
Besides refining, Phillips 66 also has a chemical business that's a "great niche, very high return on capital," and a "midstream business that moves oil and gas around," she said.
Witmer said she bought shares of Phillips 66 when it was spun out of Conoco Phillips in the spring of 2012. "We've [also] bought some since, even at around these current prices."
Airlines keep churning out more service fee revenue
A new report estimates that global airlines hauled in a record $27.1B in services fees last year.
United Airline (UAL +1.2%) topped the list with a $5.4B haul in additional fees, whole Delta Air Lines (DAL +0.8%) came in second at $2.6B.Bags-Fly-Free carrier Southwest Airlines (LUV +1.4%) only squeezed out $161M in fees, primarily through its "early bird" reservation perk.
The pilots put UAL in a funk many a year ago. Lost many passengers with their BS games/tactics. The 600 furloughs have been called back so they have nothing to complain about now. If you're a pilot then I understand your biases. If you're an employee at UAL then you should understand that pilots can in many ways do more harm than good to an airline.
Making $25M per year scamming all of you shareholders. How stupid can stupid be? His $600M loss on that bogus ERA entity should have had his head in a loose long ago. He's an arrogant, aloof phony.
You must have a negative IQ son. For your benwaw58 should read IQ (-1). This myopic, book worm fool, "bend over Ben," has distorted the stock market like no other. How stupid can you be?
If CAT wasn't in the Dow, which is where all the buying has been in the last 5 years, CAT would be in the $50's. Where it belongs. Boy are you stupid or what?
All the while Central Banks are bending over for Ben. And nothing is being achieved economy-wise except massive distortions between main street and the abyss called Wall Street. You boys/girls ought to try something else in life like Bingo. What are they going to do next? Give out free coupons?
In order to get NG plays higher one of two things must happen. Higher demand or less supply. Anyone with a crystal ball out there?
First he brought back the Ram to respectful levels now at Nissan he struck a major blow with the announcement that the 2015' Titan will offer a Cummins 5.0L turbo diesel. And where is Ford during All of this? I hear very little.
I think T Boon is a great guy in that he wants to utilize OUR own produced NG to propel our vehicles at the expense of the Middle East and beyond. I mean what's not to like here?
