Did you read a post here way back explaining how our Gov. has made it even harder to get approval for such an export facility? LNG is laughing all the way as a result.
Hey Ross, strike up some sort of deal with Ukraine while nobody's looking.
Russia state-owned gas firm Gazprom says it has cut off supplies to Ukraine after negotiators failed to resolve a payment dispute before a key deadline expired.
Is UAL with many dedicated/loyal/hard working employees. I'm married to one of them. Many factors go into an airline and most are not controllable. Many here want UAL to falter/die. Why? I guess they don't have a life. They're losers. Many of them out there. Obviously. UAL is in a tough world. And when I read others here compare UAL to LUV I have to laugh. Try getting to Munich from the USA on LUV. Better have an excellent backstroke.
Many in our Gov. knew this was forthcoming. I'm sure some of this made its way into oil futures. Crooks everywhere today. Wall Street who?
10-4 George. You knew Iraq was going to rack and ruin? And I'm sure you're hung like a black giraffe too??
If one of the nuts in Iraq ruptures a pipeline look out stock market. Gas (my area it's currently $3.89) will hit $4.50 in a matter of days which will dent an already feeble economy. This is all the reason on the planet to support NG consumption in our 230M vehicles here in the USA.
Huge reversal today due to the new frequent flier mileage program. As with the other carriers United will reward points based on fare price not miles. A plus for them. Not good for the average Joe flier however. Has had a very good YTD...up 25%. What's next? I would suggest further upward movement in the airline index. As for UAL? It wouldn't hurt if the current CEO got canned.
I hope you don't mind me asking but IF the pumps in those wells are stopped are you still paid? There is in my area those 50' wind turbines situated through out the farm areas. They stop them from spinning at will for BS reasons and when so doing the farm owner is NOT paid. I was just wondering if your situation in under similar contractual agreements.
According to new research by RBC Capital Markets, 76 percent of institutional buyers and energy firms surveyed expect crude oil prices to remain above $100 for at least the next year. About the same number of energy market participants, 74 percent, think natural gas prices— already challenging $5 per British Thermal Unit, will also remain elevated, according to the report, which is being released Wednesday.
