"Foolish investors sell their stock at well below its true

While some investors like to blow out their

Other investors will gladly make the profits that you

The shorts better run for cover

  • at_last_at_last by at_last_at_last Feb 11, 2000 12:04 PM Flag

Most of these fools who don't like to see the
    facts this week will
be back spreading "a lot" more
    crap next week.

    They probably aren't shorts and
    probably really are long-term investors.

    Hugh? You
    ask how could that be?

    Some of these fools
have sold options against their long term cache of
    stock.
Now they need the price to drop to $35.25 by
    next Friday so their options
    will expire
    worthless.

My advice, if you want to shut these people down is

    1) "Exercise you Feb $35 contracts now!"
    2)
    "Don't buy more options"

    That right, if you take
the shares out of their account then
    they no
longer have a reason to trash the stock. In fact,
    once
they replace the shares they will probably spend part
    of their
time trying to boost the stock price so
    they can sell more contracts.

    Shut these fools
down and you will be glad you did.
    Exercise all
options that are "in the money"
    And stop buying
    additional contracts

    It is that simple

UP TO DATE TOTALS FOR TS2

Animated blockbuster film 'Toy Story 2' has
broken British box office records during its UK weekend
release, leaving Leonardo DiCaprio's new film 'The

Beach' high and dry by comparison.

    The 'Toy
Story' sequel -- which follows the adventures of toy
robot Buzz Lightyear and cowboy doll Woody -- took 7.8
    million pounds
($12.40 million) at British cinemas at
the weekend -- the most any film has taken during its
    first weekend in Britain.

    'Toy Story 2', ranked
number two animated film in U.S. box office history
behind Disney's 'Lion King', accounted for more than 50
    percent of the record
    combined 14.2 million pound
takings for all films shown in the UK at the weekend --
    again a record.

    "At 7.8 million pounds 'Toy
Story 2' has been absolutely huge. They are the highest
weekend takings for any film in the UK ever," Mary Scott
    of leading
    international film industry magazine
    Screen International said on Monday.

Day after day we her testimonies from shorts how
    they are fed up and
Day after day they return to
post their dribble on this message board.

    I
suspect that deep down inside you know that this stock is
    worth
At least two to three times its current
price. This is why, after all your
    threats to leave,
    you are still here.

    Someone please put this on
    your calanders !!!

    This is the week that
mymy1953 and poncho_mike finally leave Pixar and
    find a
better investment. We will all miss your comic posts but
    I must admit
it is about time. Goodbye, we wish
you well in your next investment.

    Two weeks
ago another investor Blow_out_sale made the same
    statements
and then swore to leave. The next day he claimed to
    sell all of his stock
then a few hours later he
bought some back. I guess he realized his
    mistake.
Unfortunately, for him, it takes twelve months for an investment
    to become
long term capital gains. It seems quite
foolish to keep changing your mind
    like this but at
least it shows that he does see Pixar as an investment
    that
    he wants in his portfolio.

    Facts about Pixar:
"Sales are up, Profits are up, and The price will go
    up.."

Several wise investors have pointer out:
    "Your money
is much safer in Pixar than in the Bank"

    Good
luck to all new and fellow investors.,
    Pixar's day
is almost here. When it finally arrives, we will all
    be rewarded!

The following appears to be the definition given
    by posters on this board:

    "Day traders,
shorts, longs selling covered calls. Whatever your
    motivation for trying
to undermine the value of a stock
like Pixar, it makes no difference, you are
    Shorts."

    Who is a Pixar long?

    The following appears to
be the definition given by posters on this
    board:

"A long is someone who holds a stock because of its
    Potential. They believe that
    they have a good investment
and that when it reaches its potential they will be
    rewarded."

This message board tends to dump everyone, except
    long-term investors, into the
    category of Short. I
suppose that if everyone else is a short-term investor
    then it
    makes sense.

    People like
Blow_Out_Sale and others who sell all and buy back on the same
    day
definitely fit the above description of
Short. In my book, BO_S isn't a true short
    because
he doesn't short the stock, but this is the label
    the board chooses to apply.
Who am I to go against
    the trend?

Please do come back and say hello.
    Without a
little friendly banter this board would be
    nothing.

Hopefully, you pick your timing right so you can lead a few
    cheers.
I personally prefer the Walts who continuously
    cheer for $53 and beyond
    over the BO_Sales who
    promise nothing until another earnings
    report.

Wouldn't it be grand if you returned on the very day that
    Pixar begins its
run to new heights? Then you could
make a little short-term gains and
    run.

Diversity is the spice of life so you might consider
    holding a little in Pixar
just in case you miss the
window. According to Thebigbaddawg it should
    happen by
the next earnings report. (Less than three months
    away.)
If that is true then now might be a good time to buy
    some for the long run.
    Of course, smart investors
like you know how to time the market,
    right?

Good luck in your new investments.

    (PS.
mymy1953, I'm not Walt, I THOUGHT YOU WERE!)

It appears that your presence here is for one
    reason.
To pump and dump certain biotech stocks while
    trashing Pixar

The following appears to be your
plan (And it is a very sleazy one. You are a true dirt
    bag!):

First, convince week-hands, into selling their holding
    in Pixar and
    pumping your holdings in certain
    biotech stocks.

    Second, after pumping your biotech
stocks, and trashing Pixar you will sell off
    most of
your shares in biotech and buy up thousands of shares
    of Pixar.

This must be your version of
stealing from the poor and giving to you,
    right?

Good luck to you, TheBigBadDawg, and your evil plans.

May you get what you deserve.

Perhaps Steve will begin his own share buy-back
    program.
Pixar appears to be an easy double in the next six to
    twelve months.

Of course, that cant happen until
    the Brother sells his shares.
    It just one of
those karma things. If you dump on a stock
    long
enough, it wont go up until you sell it. (Thats just
    the way it is.)

    Happy trails to you big
