I've seen industry estimates that claim it will take 100 years for SSD to overtake HDD, look at the profit margins of WDC vs OCZ, SNDK, STEC pa..lease do you know what it costs to operate a 13nm NAND fab? They are selling SSDs for a loss to establish the technology. Do me a favor compare WDC stock price to your favorite SSD mfg. Meanwhile HDD fills one Google data center with 700K drives all consumables all redundant, there's not enough SSD + HDD on the planet to keep up with a 30% growth rate, demand is going to drive price, I'm buying HDD at least for the next 10 years.
this company can't keep up with its Cost Of Operation, with gold and silver on the decline its going to be a long time before the shareholders, last on the list to make a dime will see any money - bag holder lament...
"For the next twelve months, we plan on spending $3 to $4 million in capital expenditures, primarily to expand our heap leaching and related production capacity. "
I've been holding for five years, when I saw costs of $30million for 2012 I nearly sold all my holdings. The CEO will make money but it seems more and more unlikely the shareholders will see any growth. I remember when extreme4 reality got out @ $4.00 a share - it may be years if ever we see $4 again.
Thanks for that NBClay, and I can take the criticism. The expectation I as refferring to was more about the pricel fo Gold than the SOO, I think a lot of LODE inevestors are suprosed at gold and silver's retreat.
X $1300 = $26mil - Cost Of Operation for 2012 = $30mil...... Its going to be a long time before this company can live up to the expectations . COO is going up price of GLD is going down. Wish I would of put this money in COP.
hey bone head in May 2012 COP spun off PSX @ $32/share, PSX is trading @ $57 today. for every 2 shares of COP I hold I got one of PSX, COP pays 4.4% dividend . Do the least little bit of investigation before you spout off.
No I'm not knocking the COO its got to be expensive to get this mine running. And if they show a profit this year I'll be happy but I always believed that my purchases over the years would be secured by gold and silver prices. I think LODE did too they are paying off Caterpillar in gold bars for some eqp they purchased, which is a better deal for LODE than Caterpillar. I just don't see the shareholder making any money until this thing is profitable and the quickest way to profitability is for gold to ramp, not likely this year. IMHO
How many times are they going to dilute, its unfortunate that gold is not worth what people here said it was going to be worth it would have turned us all from being bagholders into some money. I never really thought gold was going to $2000 it was all those afraid and scared whxack jobs that kept preaching that led me down this path. It has some intrinsic value and its heading down towards that number where it will settle I have some silver I bought @ $12, probably about right.
There was some improprieties with the company credit card but its all in the 8-K, sounds more like to me like ineffective leadership.
So when we are talking COO we are talking annually. Week to week vs. revenue doesn't mean much, sorry I could have been more articulate, but my concern is the operating costs are going to leave the shareholders holding the bag. I'm 6 years into this investment and am losing hope.
