SPH cost basis hasn't been determined yet; And yes I think the market value of NRGY will drop but maybe not as much sa the cost basis of SPH.

a dividend. It will have a cost basis assigned to it which in effect will lower your cost basis of NRGY.

I've noticed. IMO IRET could easily go to $9 in the near term and much higher long term, depending on how well they can build back their OCF to increase their dividend.

Maybe the insiders know that the dividend won't be cut as much as the shorts have been hoping! Anyway, we should know within the next few days; maybe tomorrow?

How is it that PURGRJ and the MOTLEY FOOL can print endless negative posts and NEWS articles about DRYS and not be investigated. It would seem that at some point they would be liable for financial damages to DRYS and to other investors. Where is the SEC????

The big money shorts may finally be losing their strangle hold on DRYS. It will be a fight to behold, but with the upcoming IPO and DRYS upgrades the shorts may have to run for cover!

positive earnings report of DRYS. They only report negative news and when it serves their interests. I hope they are short a bunch!

low when compared to the potential for much higher market value. Investors and traders could realize at any moment that there is MORE money to be made by being LONG this stock. Down side is very limited to $5 or less with DRYS while the upside is 10,20, or 30 times that much based on past market values and present expansion into deep water oil drilling and oil tanker operation. The SHORT TRADERS and certain media are controlling the market value of DRYS, but they really don't have to be allowed to continue!

Don't expect the SEC to do anything. They are in bed with the crooks and have been for sevewral years!

Never a good idea to short a stock that has momentum to the upside like DRYS. You could get your head handed to you shorting a stock that is down from over a $100.

It shows the unwillingness or ineptness of the SEC to even attempt to regulate illegal behavior. IMHO

Once again the SEC attempted to cover up the fraud by BAC's Ken Lewis and the BOD by settling for $150 millions. They even were going to give the money to the shareholders.
But the NY AG was ready for them by filing his own fraud charges. More power to him. The SEC hasn't changed one bit. They are still just as corrupt as ever and should be terminated. -
Why would anyone buy this dog at any price? Ruiz is once again saying that AMD will be profitable this year. Can anyone have any confidence in what he says? For example, can anyone remember all the blowhard statements about AMD running INTC out of business. WOW! AMD will be lucky to survive, IMHO.
