A million share build in short interest is significant to me, especially when
share price is this low. Means someone thinks that NRP is going under.
I did notice that you didn't bother to mention the EXACT percentage
of the float that 2.99 million short shares represents. If it is important
to you, why did you not provide that information. Just put you on ignore.
Suggest you do the same with me.
IF you buy at three dollars and IF you reinvest the distribution and IF the distribution
isn't cut, you WILL double your money in SIX YEARS. I do think that the distribution will
go away later this year but not the next one. I will buy a few shares below $3 tomorrow.
Trading as if distribution will be eliminated. Down almost 15% in two days.
Even I did not think that it would be this bad. Most other coal stocks ane
u slightly and they have no dividend.
CNBC just reported a big build in natural gas inventories for the past week.
Natural gas price crashing and headed below $2.50. Natural gas inventories
are 34% higher this year than last year at the same time.
We are producing MORE OIL and MORE NATURAL GAS and MORE COAL.
than we are consuming. Prices for all companies in these businesses
are going lower.
ANOTHER RECORD LOW SHARE PRICE THIS MORNING FOR SHARES OF NRP.
NO BOTTOM IN SIGHT.
Dow up 204. Crude and natural gas trading up. Coal stocks up 1 or 2 pennies. Still
around record lows. Believe WLT is no longer listed. NRP is up 4 cents on below
average volume. If volume picks up, share price will continue to drop. Down
more than 8% yesterday with volume above 900,000. The big shareholders want
to get out of coal.
Dow down 174. Crude and natural gas up slightly. Most coal stocks in the red.
NRP down and 3 pennies above another record low.
Analysts continue to be negative on coal. Quote this morning from Bloomberg's
Carl Pope, "Coal stocks are down and likely never coming back".
Dow down 111. Crude continues to crash. Headed below $50. Analysts who thought
last week that crude had bottomed now see it trading below $30. Iran is said to have
40 million barrels of crude sitting on barges that will be dumped onto the market when
the agreement is reached.
Natural gas trading down. Coal stocks, including NRP trading at or near record lows.
GOING MUCH LOWER.
Bloated inventories and still building with coal (thermal and met), crude and natural gas.
ALL COAL STOCKS CONTINUE TO TRADE AT OR NEAR RECORD LOW LEVELS.
NRP will trade around $3.50 till ex and 2nd quarter results are announced. A miss with
results will take shares below $2. A beat will take shares above $5. At this time, my pick
is a miss.
Most coal stocks are trading for pennies (ie ACI 35 cents and ANR 28 cents). Management of all
companies have no plan except to wait for demand and price to pick up. Not going to happen. COAL
COMPANIES THE US ARE DOOMED.
