Our leader has stated that his goal for his last two years is to "make life better for the American people".
Has health care, the boarder and Cuba in hand.. Next step is to destroy the coal industry (to make life better for the American People). Coal stocks will continue to see new lows in the foreseeable future.
Must admit, jrad, you have lost me with your recent posts. Assume that you think that NRP management is cooking the books. My view is more simplistic, if coal (and now crude oil) fundamentals do not improve NRP is history.
Announced today that NRP's 9.125% bonds can be bought for 97 cents on the dollar . Believe the yield is still under 10%. Guess what, you can buy the shares with a yield of MORE THAN 14%.. The bond should be trading at a much much higher discount with the share price at this level.
Could have caused some of today's NRP share movement. Big volume trades started around 3:30 and the share price dropped 25 cents. After the close, 338,000 shares traded. Twenty seven trading days till ex. Believe NRP shares will trade around this level ($10) till ex.
At 3pm, dow and S&P at record highs. Big up move for most coal stocks. Big up move for crude oil. NRP in the red and at the low of the day.
On December 16th, Corbin Robertson 111 bought another 10,000 shares of NRP. Crude oil was headed for $55 and natural gas $3.50. Gives me a little more confidence knowing that the son of the Chairman continues to buy knowing that crude and ng are tanking.
Dow up 420. Most coal company stocks closed in the red. The bug up move in the dow kept NRP shares above $10. Going lower. Big move down for crude oil today. Crude needs to find a bottom before fossil fuel companies will settle down.
At least three analysts today see CLF shares at $1. CLF leases from NRP. ANR, WLT and CLF are headed for bankruptcy.
Did read today that prb coal price is up significantly November vs October.
Energy stocks now crashing. Crude oil down (up at the open). Natural gas inventories now higher than one year ago. NRP headed much lower.. Huge volume!
Really appreciate your report, jrad. I did not hear the comments made by Mr Hogan at the Wells Fargo conference. Believe that NRP's 4th quarter numbers (and 2014 year end) will meet "the street". The numbers for 2015 are certainly uncertain at this time. Thank you again, jrad.
With a 300 point gain in the dow, shares of ANR and WLT are at record low today. Writing is on the wall, they are history. How will that affect NRP shares (ANR is a lessee)
Who will be the lowest forecaster of crude oil prices. Steve Grasso today on CNBC's Fast Money put it at $40.
Dennis Gartman already has it at $30. I'm keeping score. Not too good for NRP shares if the drop continues.
The past 16 trading days through last Monday NRP shares dropped more than 40% Since Monday shares are up 27%. No changes in fundamentals that I have seen except the drop in crude. Believe shares will trade around $10 till ex and then between 5 and $10 next year. Continued weakness in coal and crude oil the reason. Seeking Alpha contributors are predicting daily the bankruptcy of ANR and WLT.
