dale - The technology is changing but it will take years to get it to where it needs to be for car batteries. Tesla will need plenty of high grade battery graphite before that happens. And when it does happen it will be slowly as their has to be much testing over time before a major change happens. Although very frustrated so far with NG, I am giving them some more time to see what happens. When Tesla finally annouces who they will be getting graphite from, I am hoping NG is in the mix. If not, I am gone.

ilove - Look at NG's website. All they talk about is the EV market and selling into it. If NG does not sell into this market, especially to Tesla. I am out. We both are really saying the same thing. Right now I am not a happy camper with NG just like you. I have been in this long, I can wait to see what happens near term which for me is about another 6-8 months.

ilove- The EV market will be the catalyst for the world needing much more high grade graphite. Tesla happens to be in North America buidling a huge battery manufacturing plant wanting resources from close by. When they annouce their graphite supply sources, I believe NG will be part of that mix. That is why I own the stock. If they are not included, I will sell my stock, lick my wounds and move on.

ilove- I agree with your frustration with NG. However tell me which North American Graphite Mine with EV grade graphite is further along to mining? My brother is an retired cop in Reno doing some security for the Tesla Gigafactory and he tells me they are pouring concrete like crazy and even has some framing up. They will need a #$%$ load of graphite if they are going to manufacture batteries there. What is your guess where all this EV grade gaphite is going to be sourced from?

CW - I am as frustrated as you with NG. Been in this stock a long time. I have to believe that Tesla/Panasonic have to be talking to multiple Graphite Mines to secure product for the Gigafactory that is currently being built and is ahead of schedule. Everything I read says Tesla is going to need between 6-8 mines worth of graphite and they want to souce from North America. This gives me hope that NG has to among them. I also have not seen any other junior graphite mines in North America get financing unless I missed something. Still holding all my shares.

TB - This is my last China holding. I have lost money on everyone. I will make a little on this one but never, never invest in a Chinese Company because you have nothing. They can take your money with no recourse for the stockholder. I have for one learned a lesson. Hopefully they do buy this dog out so I can be done with it.

This new article just popped up on Investory Intel. Should make all of us in NG feel a little better.

Reading some articles that Panasonic is only using synthetic graphite in its current batteries. At some point they will have to switch to flake graphite in order to meet Tesla's 30k or less price for their new EV. Hopefully they are currenlty testing different flake graphites (including NG) to make this happen.

So where is the Market Surveillance folks seeking questions from NG for the sudden and massive drop in the price of their stock? They were quick to ask them what was going on when the price suddenly went up.

CW - It says it on NG's August 2014 presentation on their web site. On the Time to Production page it states financing 4th quarter 2014. Other presentations by NG have stated financing earlier. As I stated before, they keep kicking the can down the road. Hopefully not this time.

On the other hand, if you purchase around 7.80 a share and it does get bought out at 8.80 then it is an easy 11% gain. I personally think it will go for a little higher.

Shaun - Go to NG's web site and read the company reports going back to 2011. They talk about financing being doing "soon" way back then. They keep kicking the can down the road.
