LOCO has been in and out then back into shrimp with their "Baja" shrimp for quite some time. I remember buying their shrimp tacos a couple of years ago. They are actually quite good. They have also tried carnitas and now have carne asada on their menu also. You have a good point in that they will probably never push for the beer license because of the drive through.
I didn't realize that Rubio's was so spread out and that big. Great blackened Mahi tacos.
"I believe the capt mentioned that LOCO was piggy-backing the launch with shared occupancy / cooperation with another fast food concern? That should help with overhead and provide a good market test (if this information is accurate)."
that applies for the new restaurants opening in the Dallas area only.
They have a beer license for those who like a cold brew with their food.
Another local So Cal quick food place which specializes in Baja style sea food is Rubio's, fish tacos, fish burritos, etc also sells beer and the food is very good.
If El Polo and Rubios could pair up someday, it would make for an excellent quick food restaurant with a casual atmosphere.
"One point that I do not like (as the capt observed) is that LOCO is not open for breakfast. They should seriously consider addressing this space as this is a very important market that I believe is being squandered at the moment."
Hasn't had a bearing on CMG.
Didn't know that they served breakfast.
As I said before Dancer Man, IMO, bird flu was a temp problem with the turnover rate on chickens.
Lots of rumors running around that the FEDs no longer have enough gold supply to prop the dollar.
Now Texas is asking for their reserve back and start their own depository. I don't see the Feds allowing that.
That's the reason China is buying gold like no tomorrow, so they can strengthen the yuan and push it as the standard for world currency or push for a new world currency.
Some people like Mr Stansberry may disagree with you on that one Cog.
" federal reserve petro-dollar ruling the world economics...."
That may change if China and other world countries get their way and if they do, Katy bar the door on the collapse of the dollar.
"Cytori Therapeutics, Inc. (CYTX) was a big mover last session, as its shares rose roughly 10% on the day. The upside was owing to the receipt of a conditional approval from the FDA for alopecia trial by Cytori’s licensee – Kerastem Technologies. This also led to far more shares changing hands than in a normal session. Yesterday’s rally reverses the downtrend for the company, as the stock is now down over 21% in the past one-month time frame.
Over the last 30 days, the company did not witness any estimate revision and the Zacks Consensus Estimate also remained unchanged. Yesterday’s price action is encouraging though, so make sure to keep a close watch on this firm in the near future.
Cytori Therapeutics currently has a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) while its Earnings ESP is 0.00%."
Not sure about the 90 days deficient on a reset but first time occurrence would have made it December and with a possible six month extension, June of 16.
"DRIP, DRIP, DRIP....................."
BTW savvy, I know you have a little trouble with that zero thing so I'm not talking about a leaking faucet here.
That will change with the yearly forecast also higher from this quarters results.
In the mean time, it's like a triple A bond with dividends.
DRIP, DRIP, DRIP.....................
