The funny thing here is that the most blatent error went unnoticed. I wish we were 18B in debt!!! As for name calling, bigot??? How so? It is an educated conversation where both sides of the argument were being discussed. I'm no bigot. The question you may want to answer is why are you, if you are so secure in your opinions, so quick to drop an intelligent conversation in favor of elementary name calling? I think the President has done some good things while in office. I like the fact that he has pushed an agenda, whether I fully agree with it not. I like that someone is using there office to make things happen. I do however think that there will be some severe consequences if this government doesn't show some fiscal responsibility soon. Sadly, fiscal responsibily isn't a word voters want to hear!
Horse, I am not a professional but I have a good amount of experience in investing for myself. I personally find it very difficult to sell at the extremes. . For instance, I should sell AKAM on Monday as well as WLT. In one I have massive gains and in the other I have the same in losses. Anyway, my recommendation is that you sell and start with a clean slate elsewhere. You will feel better a few weeks from now. ..but learn from this. I would recommend the following in order of my own interest NYMT, GE, FNFG, and SCTY. I own GEand FNFG for the record. I have been looking at the other 2 for a long time and will have a position in both at some point provided I get the right price. Best of luck to you with your difficult choices. ..remember, if you have time. ..just keep learning and keep some cash for the big opportunities the market gives you. ..aka energy in the next few months. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is what your timeframe is. If you are in the name for the next few years, you will do really well buying at these levels. Do so with caution so that you have more to add if things get worse before they get better. Personally, I first bought at 27...then at 21. I will continue to add slowly and comfortably as the stock dips. When I feel like the bottom is in. ?.I will double down. That time is not here yet.
