We need to, at the very least, make sure no more socialist Obama policies are implemented over the next 2 years. Best case scenario is repeal of the Affordable Health Act. Republican Congress also means lower taxes for Intel & Intel investors.
Aessa warned us about how poorly Intel SOC mobile designs were relative to the competition, well over a year ago. We should have heeded his advice.
Mobile losses & prospects worse than expected. When is the CFO going to cut off heads based on lousy job performance?? Intel mobile designers doing a terrible job, period.
Late and cant compete on specs. Looks like Skylake is the next savior for Intel in mobile...sometime in late 2015 at best. WTH happened to Intel engineering??
Sold a ton of Calls $30 strike when it failed to break $35 a few times. Making a pretty mint right now.
$1B+ quarter loss, barely making 40M units - all at a loss.No profit in 2015. If it wasnt for mobile, the stock would be at $60 today. Mobile nothing but an anchor. Intel should have taken the bullet & made a major acquisition in this space. My guess is they'll have to if they want to ever succeed. We're still paying for the strategic blunders of Paul O.
Its been 3 years. Instead of wasting $4B on buying back shares at decade highs (some of that for employee compensation, btw), its time to give the $$ back to the shareholders.
Yup, the CFO is selling his shares at decade-highs & makes sure to pump the stock by telling the markets how much Intel is buying this quarter. Borderline unethical.
Great job CFO using $4B of our $$ to buy shares at its highest point in decades. Intel has the more incompetent leadership in all of tech.
Horrible Intel management.. Nothing but losses in mobile. Looks like corporate IT spending is starting to wind down. Meanwhile, the "brilliant" CFO was buying shares with our $$ at $35.
Intel continues to have leadership making huge blunders.
PC just a $-losing commodity business. Thats what Wall Street will say tomorrow. Intel will also lose leverage with HP. Meg just stabbed Brian K. in the back. INTC opens sharply lower tomorrow.
INTC would be at $75 today if it wasnt for the Windows 8 disaster & Ballmer.
Investors want more, especially after the disaster that continues to be mobile. There should be mass layoffs like most other tech companies have done.
Expect a test of the $30-$32 range. Very scary as all the Intel "good news' is built in. Any hint of corporate PC slowdown can take us back to the $20s. Inexcusable for Intel to have failed in mobile for so long.
