I suspect that ONCY will issue a press release on Monday to announce this 3rd approved FDA Orphan Drug Designation, this time in Fallopian Tube Cancers.
According to wikipedia "Demographic distribution is similar to ovarian cancer, and the highest incidence was found in white, non-Hispanic women and women aged 60–79. However, recent evidence suggests tubal cancer to be much more frequent . Evidence is accumulating that individuals with mutations of BRCA1 and BRCA2 are at higher risks for the development of PFTC."
The incidence of fallopian tube cancer is often underestimated due to its co-existence with ovarian masses, and frequently Fallopian tube carcinoma is misdiagnosed as a metastasis from a primary ovarian carcinoma. Cancers that metastasise to fallopian tubes include ovarian, endometrial, gastrointestinal tract and breast.
Kenny - this is the message that prompted my confirmatory response 20 minutes later.
I have tried 4 times to respond and yahoo has removed my response each time. But read the message board from 3:00 p.m. yesterday to the point of where I posted to understand what prompted my post.
ONCY has been granted 3 FDA Orphan Drug Status Designations in the past 2 weeks - has at least 2 more to be granted by the EMA in the near term - and the potential of multiple partnership announcements - and the possible announcements of at least 4 Phase III clinical trials over the near-intermediate time-frame should be a enough of an answer right now for anyone looking to go long this stock.
Orphan Drug Designation in Fallopian Tube Cancer was granted by the FDA essentially 2 days ago, and confirmation must be made by ONCY before a news release is made. Once confirmed the company will likely issue a news release early next week (most probably on Monday).
As already pointed out by ludwick.mark on this message board.

Enlisting Viruses as Commandos in a War on Cancer
By MIKE HALEFEB. 26, 2015
Through two seasons, “Vice,” the newsmagazine assembled by Vice Media and carried by HBO, has been a travelogue for the gonzo armchair tourist. It circles the globe to report on every variety of crisis — wars, drugs, the environment, rape in India, desperate bachelors in China.
Friday night’s “Vice Special Report: Killing Cancer” is a change of pace in several ways. The topic is less sexy and more universal than the “Vice” norm, and the approach is straightforward and relatively calm. With a little more hedging and a more modulated and dressed-up correspondent, it could just as well be on “60 Minutes” or PBS.
The reporter in this case is Shane Smith, the Vice co-founder, chief executive and alpha dog, sporting a black T-shirt and an unregenerate Canadian accent. He begins the 40-minute report by explaining how cancer has touched his own life, then drops in on four hospitals doing revolutionary research into the use of retrofitted viruses — for the common cold, measles, smallpox and H.I.V. — to identify and attack cancerous cells.
Greater Global Warming to be experienced even with cyclical solar events.
“Even under the most optimistic scenario [of minimal global warming and a deep solar minimum] the solar cooling would only just offset greenhouse gas warming. So no ice age.” ... "It is more likely that it will simply reduce the warming a little, and set us up for greater warming if it receded." - Joanna Haigh of Imperial College London on Mike Lockwood's thesis.
The onset of 'Global Warming' has nothing to do with sunspots according to Mike Lockwood, a professor of space environmental physics at Britain’s Reading University
"Human-induced global warming, he says, is already a more important force in global temperatures than even major solar cycles."
Temperatures have risen by about 1.5 degrees since 1880, with more warming expected, according to the most recent assessment of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

"So many of us have been devastated by cancer in our families. All of us have been affected by it in some way," notes president of HBO programming Michael Lombardo. "We are proud and excited to have Vice deliver such important news about this major breakthrough in the fight against cancer."
"When I first heard Emily Whitehead's story, I broke down and cried like a baby," says Vice Media founder Shane Smith. "At death's door with aggressive leukemia until undergoing radical 'immunotherapy' that actually used re-engineered HIV cells to attack her cancer [which seemingly cured her] was a story that struck a father of two young girls to his core. My life, like most people's, has been negatively affected by cancer, and the thought of my young children living in an age where this is no longer humanity's No. 1 health fear was simply overpowering. My first thought was 'How soon? How soon can we get these types of therapies to market and helping people?' I couldn't be prouder in bringing this story to the fore and hope that with growing awareness about these types of new and radical therapies that the process is sped up, and we soon see them available to those suffering from this dreaded disease."
A promo for the special and a trailer for season three of the Emmy-winning series Vice will debut before the next edition of Real Time With Bill Maher. It's executive produced by Bill Maher, Shane Smith, Eddy Moretti and BJ Levin, and co-executive produced by Jonah Kaplan.

Vice is exploring how HIV, measles and viruses can be used against one of the world's deadliest diseases to save lives.
In Vice Special Report: Killing Cancer, airing exclusively on HBO, Vice goes inside the world's most cutting-edge cancer research labs to follow the pioneering doctors and researchers who are changing the face of modern-day medicine. The exclusive in-depth special also features some of the cancer survivors who have already been saved by this revolutionary medical breakthrough, It debuts Friday, Feb. 27, one week before the series kicks off its third season March 6.
The special specifically explores groundbreaking new treatments to fight leukemia, glioblastoma and multiple myeloma. These therapies include the use of HIV to transform a patient's immune system into a cancer-killing machine, a genetically engineered cold virus injected into a living patient's brain tumor, and millions of doses of measles infused into patients' bloodstreams. Unlike modern treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation, which leave a poisonous trail of collateral damage in their wake, these viruses infect and kill cancer cells without harming healthy tissue.
With looming partnership agreements in the NTDF - the trolls are troubled.
Looming partnerships would mean that the highest bidder reaps the reward of the deal - including ONCY's senior management involved in particular clinical development programs.
All spells ONCY and the potential of several looming partnership agreements.
A partnership agreement with BIG PHARMA OR BIG BIOTECH would likely have long-term clinical development of reovirus transferred to the partner from ONCY. This would mean that certain ONCY management could be transferred to the partner as well, should the terms be agreeable to those being transferred.
An unexpected, yet timely announced, partnership agreement is what greatly troubles the trolls right now.
