  • Sure enough nisenbaum, charney and their ambulance chaser lawyer fink are all playing the ethnicity card, their version of the race card.
Could it be nisenbaum that your CFO position was passed onto a more qualified individual??? charney and his cronies ran this company to near bankruptcy, now it’s up to Paula to dig her way out and try her best to turn this company around.

    Below from LA Times:
“Luttrell was also openly hostile toward Nisenbaum, the suit alleges. Sometimes the former finance chief would sneer, make rude hand gestures or pretend that Nisenbaum "smelled bad." Nisenbaum said he believed that Luttrell had a problem with his Jewish faith.
"Mr. Nisenbaum is informed and believes that his position and job duties and responsibilities were offered to and bestowed to less qualified non-Jewish individuals subsequent to his employment," the lawsuit says.
Nisenbaum said all references to Sarbanes-Oxley violations and his religious discrimination complaint were removed from his personnel file, which he request after his termination, the suit says.”

  • This kind of says it all about lawyer representing those in the class action law suit and charney.
I'd say they need a new lawyer. Below according to a couple of dictionary's:

    Lilly Pulitzer and Target

I failed to mention that I didn't notice any spandex or butt-cheek models on Lilly's site.. I think that APP has a monopoly on spandex. We are the spandex Kings/Queens in the garment industry.

  • Young girls were lined up around the corners of the Target stores looking at and buying the sheik designs of Lilly Pulitzer. The Target website crashed because of the overload of buyers to this clothing line. Lilly has style and class in her designs. Our website is a far-cry from Lilly's professional looking site.

Not deserving of a comment.... oops!! I guess I just did.

  • Anyone with any news as to why we were up at Friday's close? I don't recall seeing a green closing in weeks; hopefully we will hear some positive news from APP soon.
I have a L-O-N-G way to go to break even here guys.

Sooooo, you stated that Paula has been managing App for nearly a year. Your time-line is incorrect. Paula came on board around the last part of Dec 2014.
dov did not have a clue on how to run this company. He was too busy with his post-it notes.
The man is a multimillionaire, I wonder how he mad his money????

    Here come the ambulance chasers

reneechastain9 are you telling us that the SEC appointed these ambulance chasers (SS&B) to investigate the firing of charney? I don't believe that you are that much of an idiot. Come on man and put on your reading glasses and tell actual truth. READ THE COMPLETE ARTICLE!!!
“The Company's Form 10-K annual report filed on March 25, 2015, disclosed that "[o]n February 5, 2015, the Company learned that the Securities and Exchange Commission had issued a formal order of investigation with respect to matters arising from the Suitability Committee's review relating to Mr. Charney. The SEC's investigation is a non-public, fact-finding inquiry to determine whether any violations of law have occurred. The Company intends to cooperate fully with the SEC in its investigation."
Obviously you are a dov supporter.
    I am still here lurking......

  • Stull, Stull & Brody wants to assist us the shareholders with their lawsuit brought on by the lead shareholder dove charney. This man is sick; he does not want to see APP profitable if he’s not involved.

  • From NY Times
    "Struggling American Apparel Begins Layoffs
    By HIROKO TABUCHIAPRIL 1, 2015
American Apparel has started laying off about 180 employees mainly in manufacturing as part of a bid by its new chief executive to streamline the retailer’s money-bleeding operations."
This was a rather lengthy article. To find the complete article just do a Google search for American Apparel News.

members of charney's heritage are backing him. birds of a feather stick together.

  • Dov’s interview on 20/20 last night made him out to look out to be one sick puppy. The man is wacked. I’m not sure why his lawyer allowed him to do that interview that was taped in dov’s mansion. Obviously the lawyer and charney are of the same cloth. I hope that the SEC looks into how he is able to attain his lifestyle. He has been banned from the Company so his days of taping into the Company’s coffers are over.

Dov continues to live the high-life living in a 10-bedroom mansion somewhere near the LA area.

Paula came across as one steady individual that will be able to turn this Company around. There is such a dissimilarity between Paula and dov.

Sleaze ball charney on 20/20 tonight

CORRECTION.... It is not Matt Gutman that is doing the interview. Not sure who the interviewer is, don't recognize the man.

  • 20/20 which follows Shark Tank will have Matt Gutman interviewing the King of Sleaze charney tonight (3/27/15). Don’t sit too close to your TV you might catch airborne gonorrhea.

  • If someone from Intuit would go into the Quicken Support Chat link they will find that Quicken users (many) are complaining about not being able to download quotes. Today I got a few that were updated while others were left blank, that was earlier today. Now it is just very, very slow.

Dov has his cronies and tribe members following him under #teamdov. I say someone needs to get something going on #teamPaula. I chuckle when I see dov’s attorneys’ last name.

Well I believe that the SEC will be looking into APP’s losses and the cause of those losses. I just hope that Dov was not skimming money off the APP profits for his own personal use. He does not come across as an upstanding guy.
It is well known about his behavior with some of the ladies of APP.
Dov may end up in the slammer… who knows!

Buy for the long-term. I look forward to Paula and her crew to turn things around.
