    clown,
You're half right. The human capital is on the books at wayyy over its actual productive worth. But it all makes a great chew toy for MMs, Specialists, insiders and cronies--with the only cost being to the retail cannon fodder who fall for all the hype.

    icono,
"OPC trial for paralysis look promising. "..as a real estate subsidy, yes. That's wha most CIRM $$ do---support the biotech real estate sector.
The AST application to CIRM scored 72 out of a 100 as havng any benefit at all. It repeats a "failed" experiment (tha proved the injections didn't mess up anything--but did no gadd at all) with twice the dosage, and higher up the spine as a Hail Mary take on the issue.

    clown,
Success??? You sounds like a "long." Note what I phrikking said: " that none of it can genedrate revs over COG any time in the next 5 years."
The essential problem here is the retail road kill confusing the "science" with the common stock. Thyere is no connectifon. To the degree there ever can be, AK, Neal, Garfies and Mikey have made dang sure it will not filter down to "buy&hold"--only be captured by traders on both sides the clear.

    clown,
Nope. BTX has lots of stuff. The issue--which longs demand be ignored--is that none of it can genedrate revs over COG any time in the next 5 years. By which point necessary dilution to cover the burn will lead to negative returns for anyone with a basis over 2.

  • baltbear@ymail.com baltbear May 20, 2015 5:51 PM Flag

    clown,
I disagree: it's a college level science project. However, there's nothing there that can get FDA approved for anything in the next two years; and even less that can generate net revs over the expended costs. Thus, more dilution to come.

    jetpro,
The error in your analysis is thinking "they think." If they did they'd have something to say about how any of this dog's claims convert to gross revs.

dontmindthat you are a lying illiterate---
Note the word "funds"---which any 5th grader would note means baskets of positions determined by somebody else..
So, which is it? Are you stupid--or just a lying piece of #$%$ showing new readers hear that the "long" poistion is pure garbage?
Since AK made it a point to get this dog onto the ^rua and ^rut, there are a number of trades one can make that might affect this dog--even while working to avoid its inflated mkt cap like the virus that it is.

    scumliar,
There's $50,000 waiting for anyone who can back up the claim that I have ever shorted this dog, told clients to, or retained clients who had in any possible fashion beyond writing calls on funds that held this dog.
So there, lying gameboy--if you believe a word of your own drivel, cash in.
Otherwise, just keep showing new arrivals that the "long" view on this dog consists of nothing but hype.

    jetpro,
" the verge of medical breakthroughs," has nothing at all to do with the verge of no more dilution, and even less to do with the verge of a penny a share gross vrevs--which would still be a dilution inducing burn rate.

BTX board or bashers? reiterate $50+ target

    by my_honest_opinion May 14, 2015 10:29 AM
    baltbear@ymail.com baltbear May 14, 2015 6:29 PM Flag

    clown,
Not factual. Especially about AK being underwater. His actual net basis is quite possibly below $0.00.. He's been getting $5 and more a month since 96, when he was brought in because the founders ran this dog from $6 to 1/2. that was in 96. Mikey went on the board in '02, because of his "expertise" in human cloning for growing a spare body to kept in the Big Chill until needed.
The play is getting retail road kill to give the insiders and cronies a free ride to where-ever.
You are quite correct on the actual failure of any of the "science" to pay back R&D costs.
And that the actual product is tranches of stock--as today's news demonstrates yet again.

That's the first intelligent comment about how this game is played I have seen here in several days. Retail only has so much appetite for Koolade.

    jetro3,
Actually, Law # 1 is don;t outlive your money.
Rule #2? It's never different this time.
#3 is vikinged from Warren Buffet's rule #1 and #2. Don;t lose money; obey rule #1.
The critical one on this dog is "Trust mgt to the extent your net basis resembles theirs. "
So..somebody got a poster into the halls at a conference, showing that BTX is very on track to have a merchantible product 3-6 years from now that will take 3-10 years to pay back its costs.
Good for healthcare. Bad for the common stock. Especially when that testing protocol is likely to be obsoleted out in 8-10 years.

" I wont react to statements by our friend jetpro, baltear and returf, but it is interesting to me nevertheless." Good. Just learn and add it to your game plan. Notice how the pumpers always want to bury actual dialogue? Learn from that as well.

Laws of a baltbear: Buy the rumour; sell the news.

Why this stock will never hit $100. Or $10.

    by realtruf Apr 17, 2015 10:36 AM
    baltbear@ymail.com baltbear Apr 17, 2015 7:20 PM Flag

    realtruf,
That's just a wee bit harsh. The corpsicle guys did do Hexgtend, which works... But is now being obsoleted out. REvs from Hextend came close to paying the light bill from 1992--present--but not the rent. There's another "me, too" producton the horison, to compete in a space where one of the other 2 prodicts drove its creators into BK.
There's welfare checks from CIRM now to cover the rent--since CIRM is first and foremost a subsidiary to the real estate industry, not the "science" community.
There a fair number of patents which by BTX's own estimate give this puppy a BV under $50mm. And the bulk of those patents are 1/2 or more through their amortisation.
Put more succienctly--this dog is a chew toy for the MMs and specialists. THose who like it can trade into accumulation until they get comfortably close to the net basis of insiders and cronies---at which point they're protected.

Please do explain to the board in 200 words or less when "LifeMap & Apple" yaydyda will put $1k gross to BTX.
    And then? $1k net.
And then? The well over $1 mm Mikey has spent on stuff like this since he took over around 7 years ago.

5000+ calls bought for September at $7.50

    ny,
Try to learn the 85/15 rule and how to price options.
Today there were 50 of those calls bought from people who intend to picket the premium.. Look at the spread--which suggests something bullish... until you note that the spread also shows how little interest there is in buying.
By the way--who has all that stock to cover their calls? Garfies and insider cronies.

    nyjohnny,
So you find no posts of me working for boiler room touts.Typical insight from a game boy. You also find no posts in which i say to seel this dog.
Only posts asking the gameboys to quant their rats' droppings--and posts pointing out that those who profit from this dog do so by playing it--not being played by it.
So got 2100 words explaining when BTX will get its first $1k from the "Apple partnership"?
Got one post where you can put this dog over $2 based on any rational analysis instead of boosterism?
    Of course not.

You are likely in line for a free cup of koolade.
I respond to posts with legititmate content, and to posts in which the boiler room #$%$ mkaes it clear that they are punks.
That means replying to any of your posts.
