You got your 10, Wow. Today so far it is 10.48 to be exact. They do alot of business in Europe. They were 17 this year too, geez louise. This can go below 10, Europe is still not looking good, but the pain has to end sometimes, right? The problem I have with MNTX is the weak volume and therefore, the stock is controlled by a few. Makes the stock jump up and down for no apparent reason.
This is a very good day if you didn't own this stock. A great place to start a position. I did the samething when Expedia when down 27% last year and I bought at 47, now it is 80's. Another possible good stock that got crushed is LL - Lumber Liquidators. Great CEO.
There are some good deals out there if you know where to look. Don't be scared, it's a game.
Why would VISA turn him down? They either want to put the screws to Monitise or they want to make money or both I can't figure it out, any opinions? Maybe it is not that simple.
It has been suggested by one of the boards esteemed posters, that the price is between .41 to .49 and being traded in and out at this level. Cooperman can do this forever, I guess, until something happens to MONIF, good or bad. Let's say MONIF does better, we may have a breakout above .49. If you suggest that Cooperman is "long," this potential breakout above .49 could make him alot of money. Now where it goes from there I have no idea. The key is MONIF doing its job! It seems that Cooperman thinks they can do it, eventhough it is a BIG risk, which of course he knows. This is why an activist investor may serve a positive purpose in this case - I guess we will wait and see.
A low risk penny stock, sign me up!
Do you believe everything you are told? He could change his mind, which is his right, maybe he and his crew want or need to go in another direction. I truly would like to believe what people tell me, but in reality, it doesn't work that way.
Down 5% today so far. No one should be surprised, this is how it is going to be for a long while. Don't live or die on the ups or downs, keep cool and don't mortgage the house or not pay a bill because of MONIFor don't let it hold you up on investing in something else. Only take small bites. In other words, don't drive yourself crazy.
I agree with Wisco, conjecture. Maybe VISA wants to hold onto the shares for awhile. I do not know what VISA wants to do frankly. My psychic abilities are failing me this morning, sorry.
If it wasn't for the correction in the market and problems in Europe, NOK would be 9, so I'm not sure where all this is coming from at this point. You can look at any company and point out a variety of things, but I think you are creating a problem that is not really a problem. NOK has done very well since its new lease on life in 2013. I do like how you are trying to create uncertainity though. Kudos to you!
Curious. I wonder what her deal is? Was she brought in to sell MONIF. Mobile Banking is moving very quickly now, the new buzz words, where is Monitise verse all these huge companies? Is what Monitise doing that big a deal now or did they miss it? Wisco made me think about it with his other comment. I wonder what Kass really believes or is he just chasing the quick buck or is he trying to find a buyer, so then he can dump it? I'm not sure what's happening and we are being played the patsies? After watching the 8 hour special over the weekend about JP Morgan, Carnegie, Rockafeller, Frick and how they played alot of games with each other and could careless about anyone else, it makes you think, are we being played?
That's why they either make it or don't - these pumpers are looking years in the future, I don't think that can happen and never believe it. The idea is for MONIF to be bought out, the more you look at it, but does anyone want to buy them at this point? It's a #$%$ shoot, that's why you can't get too crazy with it. Have your position in it and add to it, but don't get delusional either. Becareful is all I'm saying.
When you count up all the things they are doing and you add in the mix the upcoming $900M Mockingjay, Divergent, this John Wick movie which sounds real good, a surprise on Expendables 3 movie, the stock look real cheap. A $30 stock c'mon! Now all we need is another Madea movie, just kidding.
Is it me or doesn't it seem like it is a matter of time this goes pass its all time high?
If this pans out, WOW, LGF stock will be up where NetFlix's is now and pretty quickly. LGF stock is cheap when you look at it with another new development.
I agree, unless Kass was trying to bring down the stock and wanted cheap shares. But I don't think that was it.
A boatload today, a dump in the bay tomorrow.
I do realize that this is how it is. Just don't get consumed in this stock or it will kill you. Take only bites, don't be greedy and don't let these pumpers get to you, they got their own game going on.
