The Asians might like a dopey movie with Depp in it, I guess we shall see. It would be funny if it was a hit over there.
The professional traders wanted it up before the earnings, so it didn't what they did, very similar to NOK, but they wanted it down.
Cramer is not a good stockpicker, watch his show. You don't buy it here, you wait for it to correct, that's how you play it. I wouldn't buy it untill it got into the 20's, it even could get into the teens. Don't get me wrong, it won't happen now, but after the first or 2nd earnings report you will see a change.
It is not that easy Salt. You must be new to the game. If it was that easy we would all be rich, but most of us aren't on these boards, like myself. We all got some extra money and are trying to utilize it, but it is not easy.
I wouldn't invest in it, wait a year, then see where it is at that time. From experience. Get real companies like Nokia, or Apple or Whole Foods, something like that. Do your research first and have patience.
If you are not a professional trader then you shouldn't cover anything. You are playing with fire when you play with the professionals, this is what they do. Go long and enjoy the weekend.
Hey druggie, these are only short term moves by these people - its their business. Long term is the only way we regular investors can play it. You got to look beyond what they do. Non-professional traders shouldn't play this game, they would get their head handed to them. You HOLD Nokia, then take profits when appropriate, but always keep the core.
I find it humour. Imagine if they had an average or below average earnings, we would be looking at a 12% decline. Geez, if they only added another 1% to the dividends we would be down only 2%.
I'm glad the short sellers are working hard and making money. If you got some new money, this is one of the places I would put it.
Do you need Guy for this analysis? Think about it. Apple has come a long way in the last two weeks - from 106 to 119, do you think the upside will be a little quieter? it could have more legs, but who know. You gamblers play your game instead of just holding and not worrying about it and most likely make more money in the long run.
Maybe they need someone who has a better grasp of English or someone who is just a better communicator or PR person giving these reports.
Another alias Sam? I have 5 aliases - I think these alias are boring, but I do understand why would want and need them. Imagine people at work what would they say? But they are doing it too, so we just keep the deception going, like most things in life. Closing our eyes to what is really going on.
Did anyone buy more bread and milk for the next "blizzard" yet? We got to buy that bread and milk.
I think the analyst know that as well, but I think Nokia is getting "schooled," which hurts shareholders temporarily.
It is not dead money, but believe there is a disconnect between how this last quarterly earnings were communicated and how the Analysts interrupted it. I'm not sure if this some cultural thing or the statement was just poorly written and communicated. I get that NOK doesn't want to be "cocky," because that can bite you in the future when a not so good earnings report is released, which happens to all companies.
Mgmt didn't help either in there comments. The naysayers are still not sure about NOK, they don't believe it yet. Anything is magnified, which leaves doubt and then people make money off of these doubts, especially when you have a very unsteady market with oil tanking.
