What's new? Anytime in the world on any day no matter what year there is strive and crazy people. What, therefore, is new? They talk about Ebola, but where is the talk about Malaria killing a couple million this year - so that is not a problem then? I guess when it hits white people then it is a problem, is that the case? Nothing new, same old nonsense. BUT a very good time to buy NOK stock or other stock, that's the name of the game. You need to have down days or down weeks or down months or what's the point?
Pay attention? That depends on what you are paying attention too. There are different valid ideas floating and yours is just another one. So when you write take the blindfold off, which blindfold do you mean? Monitise is not easy or black and white. You got one person allegely buying hundreds of thousands of shares and other folding up there tents, who is correct? Heck if i know, that's why investing in MONIF is a gamble, because not all investments work out.
44 to me is a little low - about 30% increase from current level - not to be greedy. You don't think LGF knows what it can fetch, especially after speak "unofficially" with a brokerage company that would do the deal? You got to be careful here or you will do a disservice to you and your shareholders. I like Disney or Universal for the Theme Park aspect for Hunger Games, it makes sense to me.
Some European may be refined and more civilized (I would agree and a great place to visit), but are they up to getting there hands dirty in a most unrefined world? I don't think so, that's why you got America.
Can't watch football tonight, I'll will be watching SleepyHollow, which is just as relative. Haven't you noticed that US Football has become passe?
Nothing has actually happened yet as far as I know regarding "rumors." Up close to 6%, which is not necessarily an indication it has a suitor or it would be up more than that. LGF was hammered last week, so we got about half back.
It's not going to happen. What we have seen lately seems to point in the other direction for now. They just hired a new CEO a couple of months ago.
Does it matter at this point? Unless you like history, which I do. Internet/Tech Bubble.
This is a Microsoft problem now, if it is a problem at all. Let the lawyers play, nothing to do with the New Nokia and will not effect Mircosoft or Nokia's stock. Trying to look for something, huh?
It seems like it is easy for people not physically working at the company or trying to build sonething to just say sell HERE or another part of Nokia. Can we not write about HERE being sold off and worry about building a business and making good long term money - which means an excellent stock return?
$15B is too low from what I can see. Why not NOK just hold the darn thing and continue to grow the business? Why give business away for short term gains? Having a business is a long term proposition, plus it might be a good idea to have your business diversified. I say keep the darn and make it work.
So you are asserting that they are playing games with MONIF's stock? They shorted the stock and made alot of money, leaving stockholders wondering what the heck happened. Basically, what happened had nothing to do with Monitise itself and operation, they just cashed in. Is that what you are implying? VISA is playing hardball. It may be a very good thing, if this is the case, to shed VISA altogether, because they are causing trouble. They got MONIF by the "short-hairs."
