It has done well lately, but it has been held down so long with all this good news that eventually we can get to 40. LGF is a long term hold stock as you well know. So "patience" is the word for the day, like with many stocks. If you know how to play the ups and downs, great, but I don't have the stomach or interest to do so. I am expecting a reward that is more than a mutual fund can give me.
But don't throw it in there toliets, use the waste paper basket next to the toliet. There piping system can't handle it in greece.
Cramer's trophy wife - a good one! She is attractive and it was all very easy for him. That's what happens when you have money and air time, which is a good combination. Sorry to be cynical, but I can't help myself. I do hope I am wrong, truly and will not make any other judgements.
I think Nokia is down because Blackberry had a bad report today. Now, you may say, that's doesn't make sense Banana, and I would agree. Some people still equate Blackberry with Nokia - someone never changed the program in the database. Also a good time for some profit taking.
it could take years too, but to come to think of it, everything is always up for sale if the price is right. You never close the door or that is bad business. Folks, I wouldn't worry about HERE at ALL, really. Go about ones business and try to enjoy the day and evening.
You are a short term thinker, which is one of the many problems with investing or to some, gambling. It take time, you ride the good times and bad times, that's the only way to keep your sanity.
I'm in it hell or high water for at least 5 years maybe longer. This is a wait and see and not only that, I'm playing with my Mad Money anyway.
Why won't we get a rally then instead of a pullback? Everyone is expecting this increase eventually for over a year now and if it comes to pass, why not a rally? Raising the interest rate even tiny is a step in the right direction for the overall economy. I always thought raising the interest rate is "good" long term. I do get that too many people look short term because many people want immediate gains, failing to see the long term ramifications. Prud, look for a rally and don't get out of the market. I'm holding in the market.
Just write - Watch and Learn, simple as that. If you are trying to be different, you have failed. Write: "Watch - Learn"? Or, "Friends, Watch - Learn." Less arrogant, but still gets the point across. To me, why write it at all, who are you anyway and why should we watch and learn from some random alias.. My opinion, don't write it at all, unless you have the courage to write your real name. That is real confidence and arrogance.
French, isn't this the time of year when the stock market, especially tech companies, do not perform well until Fall? I don't think we should expect much especially if HERE is sold to whomever. It seems like NOK stock will not do well until they solidly can prove otherwise, which I guess they haven't proven yet to the big money people. As we have said, this is a long term stock to hold, but in 5 yrs we will be over 20, but what the heck do I know anyway. If anyone can tell you in 5 yrs you can triple your money, wouldn't we all take that?
Why does Apple have to buy everything? Almost every board you go on thinks that Apple should buy its company. There is always a "link" to Apple and everything else. Apple can't take a step without it seemingly effecting another company.
That's funny, why? It is curious on how some behave on other people's temporary misfortunes. I guess it depends on how one was raised or how life has treated that person.
Good Luck to you.
Two Strangers meet on the street - one yells (Geegabo), are you Urban on the dopey Nokia Board. The other stranger says, What? Geegabo - "Never mind" and runs, because all the people on the street thinks he's nuts. I think we are all nuts, but harmless.
Getting a 5 Guys burger soon - pickles, mushrooms, onions and small fries and soda or pop, depending on where you hail. Maybe I will see one of you there or Not.
blah blah blah. Your post is so boring that I got up a cleaned out the offices refrigerator - That's the Truth Folks!
I think it is oversold too, but why? Fear. It seems like fear multiplies and then thinking stops, which does go for many things in life if you haven't noticed. Fear is a mind killer. But one can profit off of the fear. If you like where Nokia is going, great time to buy, but if you are me, I'm holding. You don't even need to like Nokia to buy here, this is about making money remember?
My shares are re-invested, but Finland will take its lump of flesh. But that is part of the Game. Taxes will get the best of us, unless you are the 1%.
