If they do then why is MONIF 50 cents? There are reasons companies remain penny stock for years. How long have they been working on this mobile banking thing, 10 years? Then why haven't they made money? Hey, we tried and Monitise is not what it appears. Moving on.
See you Ramind. I'm down almost 40%, you got to know when to cut losses, this is business. It is sinking don't you see it? I did the samething when I had Lucent, CSCO, YHOO and DELL in the last 90's, held way too long and lost alot of money. If I sold when I should have, I would be retired. I've learned my learn and have moved on, I think you should too. But you won't listen, because your ego is too involved with MONIF, I know the feeling. Also, you could be just "playing" us and suckering people in this no win situation. I hope that is not it.
Never will I play a Penny Stock!
Hey don't preach! I got in because it seemed like a good idea, eventhough it was a penny stock. You got to take some chances sometimes. I'm not crying.
Hey, we took a chance. There are reasons a company is a penny stock. We have to make a business decision when to sell and live another day. I know it is difficult and you ego is damaged, I get it, but you got to know when you sell or you will lose everything, like I almost did in 2000. I came back but still down $30 Grand.
Try Nokia (NOK), great company that actually offers something and on its way back from oblivion.
You could be right. Monitise sitting around with there hands in there pants for too long and wasn't able to play with the big boys and is getting pushed out. Need to do research still.
I think you are incorrect. If it is 1.05 next year at this time, I'll eat my hat. You are being too conservative. It has to sink or swim relatively soon. How long is this going to be a penny stock in one of the hottest up and coming industries? They have been working on this for a long time now, they have to make the next leap or they will another loser penny stock company.
I think it will be difficult to keep a lid on mobile banking arena anymore, especially when it is apparent it will happen and it is not a pipe dream, Apple is in on it now, enough said. It seems like MONIF is lining up the customers, so to think in 5yrs terms is no longer a viable thought. VISA people are now in MONIF, good sign. It has to happen in a year or two the most, if not, Monitise is just another penny stock with delusions of grandeur.
Come to think of it, I would rather Disney because of the theme park potential for Hunger Games in particular. I'm not sure if the Twilight Series would work.
If all this comes to pass, NOK stock should jump based on purely the technology and then to monetize it like what Elon Musk did. I do not know if the new CEO is Elon Musk, but I guess we will have to wait and see.
You are correct, selling now doesn't make good business sense, even if there is a pullback in the market. I think one could make more money holding then playing the short game. But you gamblers out there still love the game of options, calls and puts. It is your high, but then again you may have a problem.
Yes Urban you are correct, why does this alias think NOK lost money and gave a nice dividend after MSFT bought out NOK? NOK got billions for the separation. The idea is people think they can post anything just because they can, without knowing who they are or what they are all about. Like myself of course, I have to admit that to be fair. I could be on Acid too or a pumper or what have you. So to take my word for anything is not prudent. Do what you think is correct for yourself and have your eyes open.
To come to think of it, what has Elon Musk done, before you start comparing to Jobs? We have the long body of work of Jobs, where is Musk body of work? 2 year ago I never heard of him.
I wouldn't focus on a buy-out. If it happens great (I think, need to know details). Focus on if the company is good or not, then everything else will take care of itself. It seems like the guys at LGF know what they are doing.
Nothing wrong with profit taking, but will it go down to 7's? You can never say never and have seen crazier stuff, just with NOK. I remember last year when NOK was over 4 and then in short order it went to 3, that was a big move, but again, NOK is in a much different place than last April. If we are lucky enough for NOK to get to 7ish, buy with bought hands. But, that's why it won't happen, people are hip to that. Of course if we have a major economic crisis or Russia is invading Estonia, we could see 7ish or lower.
