Honestly, it is rather boring, even 8 or over. Stocks are a progression of ups and downs and we hope in the long run we are up when we sell.
"Perfectly natural" is a hard thing to quanitify. Anything is possible, the market could go sour, with tapering, US congressional dysfunction and a general market correction. I know it is easy for people to jump to "manipulation" idea.
And this is coming from a low level dopey manager. Where are these peoples heads?
On the table means, what? That's why he shouldn't say anything - I would never say that until it is done. Basic management. Then people will think they will get the special dividend, but if they don't you will have people upset. "People" will get paranoid and say or write stupid things, blaming it on the MAN.
From your mouth to gods ears. If it doesn't hit that number or at least real close to that number, can you buy everyone on this board a coffee and a kruller? If it hits the number, I will buy, ok?
Wait a minute Yahoo Police. You shouldn't do that to the name - Isn't that a legitimate name?
There are no "bad words," only bad intentions. That is also a common name - I think you need to chill out a bit dude.
I heard that alot recently and a red flag popped up in my head that would not be the case.
You know whomever it might be will cut the fat big time. Elop would do it for sure, with his track record of Nokia. If I were a Microsoft employee, I would worry. They will probably spinoff parts of the company and cut the fat. Ballmer has gotten away with it so long, because the company has made money, not so much for the shareholders, and he was living off his repetition from the good ole days of MSFT, that he didn't need to really cut jobs and hurt old friends. But this is a new world and his way wasn't working and they soon will lose money. So now he can take his billions and do whatever he wants, which is a good thing for MSFT.
Never happen. Even so, what is so illegal? Why can't people short it? Why can't people sell when they want too? Why can't they buy whenever they want too? This stock went up alot this year, why can't people collect there profits? If you never sell, you can't book your profits, so what's the point? I thought the stock game was about making money. If you bought at 12 or even less about a year ago and sold at 36, why wouldn't you take some profit? Now it is 30, those people who bought at 12 not only took some profits, but still up over 100% on there remaining investment, pretty damn good. You think they are worried? Heck No. The people who are now worried (shouldn't be really) bought near the highs, too bad - have patience and wait your turn.
