My fingers are crossed that FB will pull itself together under the RSI, BB, etc. in a couple of days; and after taking a breather will bounce off the daily 50 back into a ramp into earnings. The weekly MA 50 and daily MA 200 are neighbors that I hope are not looking for company from the FB PPS. Selling pressure into BABA excitement would not be my desired unloading time. And holding, well, been there and done that!
I love surprises, but here's one.....The MA 50 stands at 72 something - Cashbar was specific. Anyway, it is within reach, as in - we have suffered sufficiently. AND YET. That is the daily 50 MA. The weekly 50 MA is another story. And about 10 bucks lower. Now, things just seemed too easy. And for me, that difference is possibly why.
Article about proxy company such as YHOO says it/they might go way up.. In a couple months the pps could be cut in half. Have no idea what will happen, but the trip could be quick depending on momentum.
You are saying then that traders need to consider dilution factor?
An article yesterday about a 97 yo woman who wants to make a couple more million in the stock market - was inspiring. She usually just holds, but got in on what sounded like the first pacemaker stock, and went from there. Some of her secrets to longevity are almond butter and chia seeds. Nearly every thing she has done has been self directed, so she is probably the one to ask about BABA. I imagine that it will spike well both directions. I was surprised to see YHOO down today. And was more surprised to see TSLA down on analysts' concerns. It "plummeted", but bounced off the MA 50. Fortunately FB was not singled out, or I haven't seen it so far. Good luck with the BABA. The martinis should keep you happy no matter what happens.
Granted, today was not the best. I had planned to sell before FB left 77, but finally fell asleep and missed the whole dismal drop. Fortunately, my sells left a band-aid size blister of -55.00 $$, and some dry powder just in case. At any other time, this might look like a buy, but the weekly ADX just crossed over which makes a better entry seem a little more likely. I am irritated that a woman with a charming foreign accent called me to warn of the concentrated position and then threw in "compassion" as something that would tip the scale in her favor. So much for loser brokers. The last time one sold me stocks, they went so far down that he gave me free stocks and then had a heart attack!
Hershey's has just put out great dark chocolate kisses wrapped in purple foil for Fall. They are great! I hope that you get your wife some before the lawn guy does.
Hey, Lolat, didn't see you there. My concern would be that if BABA really takes off, then normal will be awhile. We can't complain much.
