Agree. I wonder if so much weight at that level makes the chart more susceptible to filling the initial transformational gap in the $20-30 range.
Overall this has been a well-managed company from what investors know. So if you treat it kindly it will probably return the favor. Good luck.
I'm not suggesting that selling would be a good thing, just that it would be a relief. This has been one marathon on top of another.
Zuckerberg has been one move ahead for years. So I have wondered why now is the time for a stock dividend, and does he think that FB has gotten over-valued. Or looking at FB longer numbers, does he think a split is a way to save the top? What I do know is that even if the stock slows, a split will help pad the difference with speed, so the investment could maintain integrity that way and investors carry on.
If FB ceased to exist then pursuit of happiness also would be undermined for lots of people who absolutely love it. In fact you are interfering with my pursuit of happiness because trading it is a really good thing, and Zuck has created this monster company that I want users to crave for a really long time, at least a decade.
I don't own a $700.00 stock so don't suffer $20.00 swings.
However! All owners' boats are about to get a tumultuous rocking and socking with 3 times the shares to wit I wish us all best of luck and good fortune dealing with it.
Not to get off your subject, but something that seemed curious yesterday, old news: Microsoft has partnered up with a little pot company on one side and on the other side partnered up to the government with a program which tracks all pot sales. On the downside for Microsoft, Bill Gates has a bunch of chickens he'd like to donate to a third world country but they told him they don't want his freakin' chickins'.
To your point about censorship, I have no clue, because I don't "waste" my time on there, but could conjecture for you.
