I agree, buy when there is blood in the streets, even if yours.
Terrific report. Mel. Thx
Thanks for your analysis, it puts my mind at ease as i have a substantial posktion. Enjoy the annual meeting.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
If true this is terribly disturbing and arguably fraudulent.
If true expect a class action shareholder suit.
A struggling poorly managed unprofitable cash burning company with shrinking sales in all verticals. What's to like.
LFTB i Totally agree with your analysis. The 'cheerleaders' are trying to put lipstick on a pig with their analysis of the recent events. Until the company has at least two successive quarters of significant revenue and earnings growth it's going to be a long year. Thank goodness for the $35 million in cash. Otherwise this is a $2-3 dollar stock.
Excellent post. Sooner or later there will be competition in the Navy Space, a fact the "cheerleaders' won't acknowledge. Your spot on regarding the high cost of the efoi lighting product. Lighting is a commodity.
Rofl. Instead of arguing about this, if you had any sense you would want to know if EFOI'S Navy monopoly was going to be challenged by a potential competitor. Guess you're not concerned about that. Lol.
I posted 'I think it is safe to assume rvlt will be selling lighting to the Navy later this year.' That is my assumption, not a fact. You cheerleaders are amazing, you speculate constantly and ignore/attack anything that disturbs your rosey optimistic assumptions. That's a dangerous way to invest.
Good post. Here is what La Penta of RVLT said about Potential Navy contracts in the quarterly conference call in March. I think it is safe to assume rvlt will be selling lighting to the Navy later this year.
Robert LaPenta, Revolution Lighting Technologies, Inc. - Chairman, CEO & President
Okay, so I don't want to go into a lot of detail, but we announced earlier in the year that we had our products tested at Washington Labs and we passed 99% of the tests required in the upcoming competition. We've got to pass 100%, so we are working now on that last 1%. We think there's going to be a competitive procurement. The Navy wants competition in this space. We think there's going to be a competitive procurement in the late first quarter -- no, I would say late second quarter, early third quarter. We are working hard with the Navy. We are working with the Cohen Group and we are optimistic that we are going to be a key competitor in the upcoming procurement.

Author makes good points
- LED lighting is a commodity
- lots of competition
- decreasing prices
Hard to be bullish on EFOI
